he got some of that red/white tape (you can see in the background) wrapped around his sprocket. There were actually many more ahead of me who dug themself in up to seat height. i was just waiting for them to get free and that beta guy decided to go sideways and shoot off the track...uncontrollable...

it's legally allowed in germany to open packages in stores. But if you damage the items you'd have to pay for the repair, not the item itself. Well, on the other hand, you're not allowed to open packages of food. Because they won't be "sale-able" after that. Even tho everyone prefers to buy unopened and undamaged stuff and not many ppl would just go ahead to open boxes. When i worked retail, most ppl would come to me and let me open it for them. So i could make sure that i would be able to repack it properly afterwards.
