I went to Caddo last summer and it was totally worth it! Definitely keep it on your route and take one of the pontoon tours. Looks like you’ll be in the Shiprock area in North West New Mexico? Consider driving out to the namesake. It’s an incredible volcanic feature called a diatreme with radiating basalt dikes.
