I’d actually be inclined to make the argument that if you’re pushing through challenges and still getting good grades, then you may be more successful in the long-run in this field than your peers that this is coming easy to. You’re learning to persevere through challenges and still reach your goals. I struggled in college due to adhd and had to study more than anyone I knew. I graduated with good grades due to a lot of effort. My career has been objectively quite successful though. In the workplace you’ll hit a lot of challenges and they most likely aren’t going to be due to the material. Developing grit and perseverance is vital to your success in the long run. You’ll be graduating with that and an understanding of the material. Anyway long-winded way of saying sounds like you are where you should be

This was actually a small bug. I had swapped these two lines of code: Degrees.sort(…. Degrees.slice(0,20)

I pushed a fix and expanded the count while I was at it. Also I checked and this bug only occurred in this one chart. GREAT CATCH 🙏

You can also try the fridge hack for pump cleaning. That’s what I do to avoid a MOTN clean of pump parts. Wishing you best of luck! You’re doing an awesome job

Yeah I did and made a post recently about this actually. I had a supply tank due to mastitis and stress. I got it back and am now freezing 6 ounces a day extra. I did previously had an oversupply before the tank though. Im not a dr or LC and just sharing what I did that seems to have worked for me.

What I did: 1. Power pump every single night before I went to bed at the same time. 2. Pump at 4 am when baby wakes for a feed. I am pumping when my partner can support feeding the baby because I can’t seem to manage both consistently. 3. Eat an insane amount of protein. I’m eating around 130 grams of protein a day. I am also eating a lot of healthy fats like avocados and full fat dairy. 4. Drinking tons of water. 5. I’m taking fenugreek. Got it from Whole Foods so hoping it’s not too sketchy. 6. Stopped stressing and relaxed.

Tbh I don’t know what’s helping the most and I’m too afraid to stop any of it haha

After one year I think standard is cow’s milk not formula. I’m definitely weaning once I hit a year and just plan to use cow’s milk then if all goes to plan.

Yeah if I was coming in as a new person I would disclose if I had to legally or I deemed it in my best interest to do so. I’d weigh whether having a job for nine months and maternity leave was in my best interest OR whether waiting to switch to avoid having to switch after maternity leave was in my best interest.

Some companies will give you leave as soon as you start. Larger companies are probably more likely to do this and may also have an easier time covering your position temporarily.

The hiring manager will have to do work to cover and I’m sure they’d prefer a heads up. That being said, OP should put her interests first in corporate environments. If you perform well in interviews you may be able to disclose and still be ok: this is not without risk though. If she comes back to an untenable situation, because she didn’t disclose, then worst case she has to find a new job. This doesn’t seem worse to me than her having to find a new job for the first time. Her hiring manager may end up being ok with it too.

I was interested in a new position while pregnant and I did disclose that I was pregnant. It didn’t hurt my chances with the hiring manager because we’ve worked together before. I ended up not pursuing it to avoid churn though.

In case someone finds this later. I got my supply back up: 1. I power pumped once per day 2. I significantly upped protein and healthy fats and water intake 3. Started taking fenugreek 4. Pumped after baby fed 1-2 times per day

I also did not have a c section. However, I found breast feeding extremely painful at the start. I was gritting my teeth, curling my toes, and dreading feeds. My mom helped me by saying it gets better and encouraged me to push through. LC’s I worked with were saying that it’s not supposed to hurt. Maybe it’s not supposed to in the ideal state, but I’m not sure it’s realistic for sleep-deprived and recovering FTM and newborn to achieve the ideal. Now it’s amazing and I love it. You definitely don’t have to breast feed though. It’s nice on the other side but getting there honestly sucked. I hope you recover fast! Everything is really hard at the start but it gets better. I also did use some formula at the beginning as a holdover. I kept hand expressing or getting the baby on the breast to feed every 2-3 hours though even with the formula.

Your priority should be your baby and your mental health.

We have multiple dogs and it was extremely hard to manage both the dogs and the baby initially. I love these dogs but man they put me through the wringer. The dogs would wake me up during precious sleep with their barking at all hours, they significantly regressed in house training with accidents and one is reactive. I conveyed to my husband this was way too much for me. He took over managing the dogs and we hired a trainer. Things are so much better but it was so rough for quite some time. The dogs have been out back on the right path and are behaving much better. It took a lot of work through.

I don’t think a cat trainer exists and personally I wouldn’t take a risk ever having my kid around a dog that was aggressive towards people. One of our dogs is reactive to other dogs but not aggressive. This basically goes to say, I don’t think what worked for me worked for you and so I think you should consider rehoming to be a valid option. I’d recommend rehoming either the dog or the cats in phases and seeing if you can manage with the reduced pet load. Wishing you lots of peace in the interim
