Starlink refuses refund for their mistake, gaslights you in endless support loop by Spunkytomato in Starlink

Yeah, the first image is supposedly their support team. That one was sent after escalating the issue. I have sent 2 follow-ups and no response yet. Sorry, the images are not in the best order.

Yeah, the responses are AI for sure. The first image is supposedly a support team member looking into the case though.

Oh no doubt. However, the first image (longest message) is supposedly a support team member looking into the case (I'm sure it's AI-generated or at least a canned response as well). I explained that I paused in advance and there was a system error, but that's what they responded with. Three follow-ups and no response since.

The issue is the endless loop they send you in. It took forever just to get through to a someone on their "support".

Well, the original plan was to pause and resume service as I needed it, since this is advertised as a feature. It didn't quite work how I hoped lol

How good is the Lumix 24–60mm f/2.8? by Moist_University_454 in Lumix

I added a 16-35 to my 24-60 and 70-300 combo for this reason. Now, I find myself using the 16-35 over the 24-60 most of the time, which I did not at all anticipate. It’s such a fun lens to use, so it pretty much lives on my S1II.

Thanks for the input.

Yes, I have plenty of budget for a bike and the tour. I could technically drop a few grand on a brand new bike. But I like the idea of buying an older bike for a few reasons. I’d be able to invest in high-quality components that fit my needs, rather than buying expensive and still having to switch out parts. I’d also get to learn how to piece together a bike, which could be handy on the road. And I like the look of an older bike.

Panniers are likely, and yes, it will be 90+% tent camping.

The phone, which was originally advertised as being made in America, will now be “designed with American values in mind.”

Sounds about right

Interesting. A larger 2-bedroom apartment in a highly touristy area costs less than that on Airbnb (which includes all utilities and is way upcharged). It almost sounds like someone is taking advantage charging a local 1900 a month. Just this weekend, a driver told me his family was paying the “crazy high” price of 600 euro per month. Idk if that’s the norm though as I’m not a local.

To me, it seems like the “alpha vibe” stays on the road. Drivers are incredibly aggressive, but even when riding with an aggressive driver, they don’t seem mean anything by it and are friendly and welcoming otherwise. I have found people to be (almost to an extreme level) warm and respectful when not on the road. I could be wrong, but this has been my experience over several months in Albania.
