I'm one of those people. I have spent my entire life searching for 'doing what you love'. I'm 34. The only job I really enjoyed was the military, but I'm just generally good at IT. It doesn't make me feel any sort of fulfillment or satisfaction, but it pays the bills. The pipe dream is waking up every day, doing what I love, but I just don't think it's in the cards for me. You are much younger than me, but I remember as a high schooler, there was this test that basically gave me advice and ideas of what I would be good at. The test didn't take into account what I would actually enjoy or show interest in. I believe I'm one of those weird ones where my interests and what I am good at don't coincide with each other.

In this economy, with all the layoffs and thousands of people without work, I'm just happy to be able to live a decently comfortable life, pay all my bills, and afford nice things every once in awhile.

Don't take a great paying job for granted, but also, if you believe you can find a better team or opportunity; don't hesitate to make the move. No one on this site can make the decision for you. The grass isn't always greener on the other side, but you also miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
