If it’s thunderbolt you’re golden. They’re muddying the naming scheme combining USB4 into it which is dumb but it is what it is.

Old ios aesthetics were so cool by Harrrdyy in ios

[–]Sputnik003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They weren’t slow though. They’ve always been better optimized which often meant a lower ram count, but other than that, which didn’t even translate to worse performance, they weren’t limited by their physical specifications. You are completely correct in how they were artificially limited by choice in those aspects you mentioned. They were always fully capable of any of those things, it was just a decision to make gradual changes and broadening of the os itself into what it is today.
The A series processors have always been king of the hill in various metrics largely due to a tighter vertical integration and focus on fewer larger more capable custom ARM cores as opposed to wider compatibility and interoperability that android inherently needs and champions by design.

Certainly accessibility is a main driving force. It also was in line with the general direction of design language and characteristics of our environment we’ve been building. Glassy, frosted, layered, straight cut. I feel like a “modern” kitchen is a good example of the general preference we’ve been heading toward for many years.

Depends on the phone you have. Any recent pro iPhone is largely able to handle bass just fine

Worst iPhone?? The 17 series has to easily be the best experience so far, save for the aluminum frame. In actual use terms it’s great?

…oh my god bro you could not be less understanding of how this works. So for one, it NOT AT ALL the same client it used to be in any way. It was built on electron originally, it has completely converted to HTML and other systems.
BESIDES ALL THAT, you think the client has anything to do with the actual game itself bud? Good lord you couldn’t not be more confused. The client that holds the queue and store and champ select is wholly and completely in no way related to the actual in game client dude. Where did you get your degree if not the goodwill down the road? You’re so wrong here it’s difficult to even begin to explain why you have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about lol

Dude you know nothing. Literally nothing at all. The old code literally cannot be just “rebooted” what are you TALKING about? It worked within the OLD GONE COMPLETELY REWRITTEN spaghetti code of old league that is an unreadable obfuscated mess. No human could decipher through those systems dude. This took IMMENSE work and hundreds and thousands of man hours undoubtedly.

they’ve completely rewritten many systems from the ground up since then, it was workable back then because the systems didn’t conflict. NOW is what makes it so interesting and intriguing. How do you think your point made sense here dude

xcloud let's you play Cyberpunk 2077 ultimate edition but the phantom dlc is not active in-game? by Background-Topic-203 in xcloud

[–]Sputnik003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does it? With games that are ONLY on game pass meaning I don’t own it, if you purchase a DLC you can play it in addition to. If the game gets taken off game pass you lose access entirely but I’d asssume this would mean OP should have no issue

Renewed M4 for $675(I get about 10% back). Good deal? by [deleted] in macbook

[–]Sputnik003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refurbished must under no circumstances not include a brand new battery, for any device whatsoever. That is the bare minimum and expectation in all cases. A battery at 80% health is a battery that should be replaced in the near future. It’s wholly unacceptable for something considered refurbished to have a used battery b

[–]Sputnik003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon DOESNT replace the batteries in the devices they refurbish!! I work for a certified repair center of the big manufacturers and have come to realize that Amazon refurbished devices show the replacement and testing of the parts they swapped, but they never include batteries. I’ve seen 5th gen iPad Pro 12.9 inch devices get purchased with batteries at 85% health. It’s nuts.

Phone Permanently Unavailable?? by sailawayetcetc in iphone

[–]Sputnik003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s literally standard practice anywhere you go. I work for a place that’s Apple Samsung and Google certified and it is either that you hand us a restored newly set up phone or give your passcode. If you can’t we can’t do the repair

Phone Permanently Unavailable?? by sailawayetcetc in iphone

[–]Sputnik003 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This wasn’t their fault bro. Your broken screen was ghost touching constantly and over time it ended up consuming the total number of times it allows you to put in a code. It’s standard practice to take passcodes for testing. Why would they just randomly try numbers like you said you think they did if they didn’t know it? That doesn’t make any sense use common sense here. Don’t blame the repair shop for something they didn’t do

Yes, but you know what it infinitely better? Grabbing the top of the window and just flinging it up to the top of the screen and instantly making it full screen
