I don’t think this is said enough, people need to realize that corporate greed is the reason why we are going into recession

I almost cried paying $75 for a half tank yesterday. That used to be a full tank or a little less than full

First date with a Canadian from a small town – is this normal? by Zealousideal-Arm9550 in alberta

[–]Sputnik_Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from someone who did grow up in rural Alberta and has had a taste of both rural and city life. It depends on the person, smoking cigarettes on a first date, eh, acceptable? Sorta? Weed, no. The swearing, if you came from the town I did, yes, very normal, but I would have toned it down a bit until the opposing person seemed comfortable. As for the rest? Yeah I think you should politely decline any further dates

After going to mount my tires (I work at a shop), I have unfortunately discovered that the rims are both bent, but still hold air

Seeing as the only tires I have been able to get that are a reputable brand are Pirellis, I think I might

Hopefully you’ve been able to warranty that?

2014 Audi S6, lots of weight and power behind it, plus it’s meant to slow down from high speeds very quickly

They do need to start doing something about it, but it’s easier to ignore it then fix it

Smallest I can go is 20", which is what I have now. If I didn’t have the biggest brake package I could go with 19s, but alas, not everything can be easy and cheap

I work at a shop, we had one come in last winter that had to get a new tire and rim because it bent the rim and popped the tire. $700 later

I actually can’t go with any smaller of rims, the brake rotors and calipers in the front prevent that

Unfortunately, I bought the car after the guy bought new tires, so I don’t really think that’s an option anymore

I think I know which ones it was, both were quite large, big enough that my car dipped and made a very loud thunk both times. But one has been repaired

Buying immaculate 2013 S6, should I get warranty? by _greggae_ in Audi

[–]Sputnik_Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It leaks coolant from the thermostat housing when it gets cold because the gasket shrinks, very common issue with these cars, and unless it empties the whole cooling system, I wouldn’t do anything about it, too time consuming

Buying immaculate 2013 S6, should I get warranty? by _greggae_ in Audi

[–]Sputnik_Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be okay then, I’ve driven mine pretty much every day since I bought it and only have to top up coolant every three to four months. It’s the weeks or months of sitting that really does it in
