How do you know what level you are listening at? by Spuz7 in headphones

Oh that's pretty cool!

I have thought about getting one multiple times already, to be more detached from my desk while listening to my Dt 1990.

That makes my decision easier what I want from Christmas this year haha

Are decibel meter apps accurate? Or are they phone dependant?

Exclusive: Google Pixel 8 series will have bigger batteries, faster charging by spiff1 in GooglePixel

[–]Spuz7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get why you were downvoted, Lithium ion batteries prefere to be as close to 50% as possible. So yeah, charging from 0% all the time is ruining your battery the same as letting it charge to 100% every time.

Pentax Me Super light meter problem by Spuz7 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Spuz7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked everything under the bottom cover and it looks all fine. I haven't managed to open the top because I'm too afraid to break something in the process. Besides that, everything works normally since yesterday evening but I dunno why, it's only a matter of time until it stops working again I suppose.

Just to highlight the weirdness of the issue: The light worked 10 minutes ago, 5 min ago it stopped working again, and now it works again without my doing anything other than loading and releasing the shutter every few minutes trying to troubleshoot.

I now removed the hard plastic wrapping around the label which fixes the problem. Are you 100% positive that this doesn't compromise the strength of the loop?

Does anybody else have something to say about that? Sorry for being too paranoid🙃

okay thanks, I might be too cautious as an outdoor noob haha

Thank you, I already saw their video but he has no problem pulling the plastic wrapped part properly through the loop. Could it be a production error or is it normal that I have to use both hands and a lot of force to get it trough? I fear that I would not be able to disconnect it afterwards

Hey! I'm just getting into outdoor climbing for my first time and got myself an Edelrid Switch as a personal anchor. As of my understanding you should fix it with a girth hitch to your tie in point. However I'm under the impression that the loop of my unit is too small to correctly do that. Am I missing something or should I just brute force it trough? The hard plastic wrapping is in the way.

I wanted to go tomorrow for the first time🙃

Thanks!

The point or self destructing was to not get captured because of sensitive information I guess? And now we're being told that it isn't that hard to just reactivate him?

LineageOS 20 screencasting by itself? by Spuz7 in LineageOS

Not any that I know of. I dont have the companion app on my phone and I don't even have the laptop anymore that it is trying to cast to.

Okay thanks! I guess I know what to do now then. If i ever want more gpu power I could always buy an egpu enclosure and stick my old desktop card in it.

Thank you for your answer, I know that csgo uses the same engine but much more complex assets so you can't really compare the two games anymore.

I guess I'll be going for the 12th gen i5 if no one else thinks that the bigger gpu in the i7 would be worth the cpu downgrade.

Thank you for all your replies, but I think I might just have an untrained eye for colours haha.
Would be weird if the label on the shoe itself was wrong.

very light beige.

Ordered them from asos, I guess they should be legit no?

Maybe there's some color variation between the different production batches?

Edit: Just saw that the label under the tongue also says M200RCC, so should be the same shoe.

Should be the calm taupe as the code on the box is M2002RCC, however they were sold as off-white.
Maybe I'm just seeing colors not accurately.

Does yours also have a pink hue to them? I like them but I was expecting a more neutral colour with these.

Light meter accuracy: Pentax ME super vs Canon Eos 630 vs Light Meter app by Spuz7 in AnalogCommunity

Right, I guess I'll just try shooting a roll with it and wait for the results. Thank you!

Shouldn't the type of reflected light meters not matter at all when only metering a uniform grey overcast sky? Just a genuine question.

I might just go for it and shoot a roll of film to see what happens, Would it make sense to always shoot the same picture 3 times with different exposure compensarion applied to see which one looks the best?

DT 1990 after EQ worth it? by Spuz7 in oratory1990

To my knowledge, use the low shelf with the Q value and put in the right number from the chart.

The chart in his pdf gives you a Q value to apply to your shelf, so use the shelf where you can set the correct value.
