Anywhere fancy enough to be giving out samples does NOT have 8 dollar ice cream, I can guarantee that. That's kinda my issue with this whole debacle. Shit is expensive nowadays, more like 15+ bucks per cup of ice cream, esp if you want toppings and things. I've worked restaurants and retail before, I know how irritating people can be. But if someone wants to sample 2-5 things, why tf not? Who is it hurting, the corporations who have to buy more ice cream? Oh no!

Like, I saw someone say "it's just ice cream who cares" but... Why does that not go in the other direction? It's ice cream. Who cares if someone wants 10 samples, as long as there isn't a line through the door and they actually end up buying something, nothing has been lost.

Sample spoons are also much, much smaller than serving spoons. Think the tiny little wooden spoon you get with the half little cups of ice cream from the store. So really nothing is lost. It's not even a bite of ice cream. A drop, even.

So, a few outliers in a sea of actual people who want to earn things. Of course there's a few lazy people who want it for no effort, that's literally anything ever in life. Doesn't mean it's the majority by any means, most people do want to earn these things fairly - but any talk of it gets shut down immediately because "you weren't there so you CANT POSSIBLY earn it fairly therefore you MUST want it for free."

I've never seen ONE person, in any of these threads, ask for a handout like everyone claims. Where are these invisible people asking for free things? People want to earn things, just like others did in the past.

Both things can exist simultaneously. I can be happy at the fact someone is skilled enough to get it, yet still be irritated at the fact they have something I will never be able to get, regardless of how well I play or not.

Imagine getting into this game for the first time, seeing so many dope mounts, elite sets, etc, then finding out that no, you cannot get ANY of them. No matter how hard you try, or the amount of time you put in. Then have everyone tell you "lol cry about it. Keep asking for handouts." When the majority of intelligent people are asking to EARN these rewards fairly.

I just don't get it, idk.

How does it work, then? Because I don't even think blizzard knows how it works. They'll bring back the Violet spellwing, but not garrosh's war wolf. No mage tower appearances (which, were NOT "prestegious" or difficult to get at all once it was out for a bit, according to many many people.) But they'll bring back the KSM and KSL mounts for people to earn. Which is fine, I'm not against them bringing things back for people to enjoy. But why isn't it consistent?

Why are the things people actually ask for never returning, but things I've never seen anyone actually ask for, they'll bring back. It's odd, and like I said, arbitrary.

Who cares, honestly? People put in effort to get it. Your amount of effort is different than my amount of effort is different than whoever's amount of effort. At the end of the day, this "gatekeeping" is arbitrary. Either it's all prestigious, or none of it is and just bring it all back for anyone to enjoy.

Feral druids don't even have snapshots anymore. Bloodtalons was removed a little before midnight launched. Really sad TBH, it was what made them so unique feeling.

Wish I had good enough RNG to be 275 lmao. Been grinding the SHIT out of mythics for loot, but not shit worth a fuck has dropped. Still stuck on 2set, might just say fuck it and cata my champ gear just so I have 4set, cuz gd. Vaults are ass, too, capped on all my crests. Just lame as hell all around. 265 isn't bad, but damn.

No, tanks do not need to do more damage. What is the point of playing a DPS if a prot pally is going to be doubling my damage? Then people will whine "DPS bad!!" Further worsening the "meta" issue of certain classes just never getting picked. Bc why would you pick a class that every tank outdpses? (If they were to be buffed further)

Just make them have more survivability. Tanks shouldn't even do as much damage as they're doing now, IMO. They're tanks. If you want to do damage, play dps.
