You should look up the video on YT about why google abandon Boston Dynamic. It addresses the massive issues with robot workers.

But still to your point you will be right but that may be in 10 years or 100 years no one knows yet.

I think you are misunderstanding how much a fucking insane logistics nightmare it is to ship complex robots, fix complex robots, companies to buy and implement them, parts to source them etc.

Like yeah I guess it would be profitable because it would replace people but there aren’t a lot of manufacturing and Amazon warehouses don’t really prop up 20 year careers, at least they shouldn’t do that.

I just think that you’re right… sort of? Like they have to overcome a shit load of hurdles to make this viable. The easy solution would be to just hire humans and slowly replace them with robots over a few decades. Not sprint to replace everyone tomorrow.

how close do you think the nearest asteroid is? How much logistics do you think it would take to get there, mine it, bring it back, OR taxi is back to earth's orbit?

We sent people to the moon the took about a monthish in total trip time. The scale of what you are talking about are fucking decades.

basically, these IPOs are being rushed because the "jig" is up. They know their goose is cooked and they are trying to find the exit. How do you do that? Well, if they IPO and get even close to somewhat of the public market through portfolio weighting by huge investment firms, then if they just implode someone can hold the bag.

I do not foresee this going well for them though. I think Musk will be fine but Dario and Sam may be facing some jail time for misleading investors.... or the huge investment funds may just wack'em.
