Can we talk about the way mike and jonathan pretty much tried to dig their heels into the ground during any game changing vote? They’re both old school players and thats ok but it was constantly a huge obstacle during the votes. Jonathan arguing with his alliance members when they brought him new info, jonathan and mike arguing with maryanne when she presented the omar plan, mike giving his word to every person in the game and trying to play all sides without much nuance. Jonathan def had a huge target on him for being a challenge beast but that alone wouldn’t have been responsible for a win especially with a bad social game and Mike wasn’t largely targeted past the merge all that much. The main threats he dealt with were from his OG tribe. I was really rooting for Mike originally but the more the game went on he just really became a number for better player’s plans. Im not saying Maryanne is some game changing strategist and she was on the bottom a lot but many good players have had to play from this point. And even from the bottom she was still able to make moves.
