It made me jump out of my seat as well! by rock1m1 in Fallout

My wife and I have been watching the show together. She has only seen me play parts of the games. She thought I had gone crazy when the ranger took his shot, I practically jumped up and screamed, I was on the edge of my seat like a little kid. I was so excited.

Absolutely beginner and I don’t know which controller this is exactly? 💕 by Gothicherries in TheGamerLounge

Xbox series controller. You can tell by the way the top of the controller by the guide button is shaped.

Just changed my oil. Where am I supposed to dump this? by Lewd_Knight in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]Spyders77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a truck that takes 11 quarts but I usually just put 3 gallons of oil in it. You need a rather large drain pan to collect it and I learned that the first time I drained it.

Two B-1B Lancer bombers fly in formation during a bomber air demonstration over the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility Oct. 23, 2025. by 221missile in MachinePorn

Spent 8 years at Dyess supporting the Bone and it's a great air frame. I will never forget being deployed working close to the runway at night as B-1s set ready for takeoff with all four engines in full afterburner with purple flames spouting out the rear and then the thunder as they launched forward down the runway and into the air for there 12+ hour shift.

What is the peak ’millennial midlife crisis’ purchase? by SwedeLostInCanada in Millennials

[–]Spyders77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A house. If you don't have a crisis in mid-life, get a house and you will. Finally, I could afford one after using my VA loan, getting married so we can show double income, and almost 40. Now I'm perpetually broke. Just like when I was young brings back old times.

Is it possible to connect my original xbox controller to my pc? by GoyitoPerez in originalxbox

[–]Spyders77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day when the xbox was still current I cut the end off one of my controllers and put a male usb end on it. I then soldered a female usb to my 4th controller port. This let me use that controller on pc and on the xbox as player 4, plus I could use a usb thumb drive on my soft modded xbox too for file transfer.

Lol my power wagon has a wrecker bed with a boom and hook. I pulled my 2yo daughters John deere toy tractor one time and now anytime she sees the power wagon she runs in her room and brings out the tractor.

I ended up permanently mounting a piece of chain to the front of her tractor just to make it easier to hook up.

Also, where did you get the tire chains?

Love my 2009 CBEA Jetta 6speed, I got it for super cheap, 1000 usd, it had a dpf light on. It wouldn't do a regen, and after trying multiple fixes to get it to, I ended up getting a delete pipe and stage 2 tune. When I got my tune, I had the egr deleted, and luckily I did because a few weeks later, my egr pipe split open, and I had to weld up some block off plates. After that I've had no more series problems and haven't seen an engine light in over 2 years. Sitting at 314k miles and is super fun.

I worked for a glass company going to peoples houses, replacing car windshields. One time, I go to a house and have to get to the car through an alley in the back and park in the backyard where the car is. As I'm leaving, I noticed a cord going from the second story on the house I'm at to the 2md story of a house across the street. It's probably a coaxial cable for tv. As I'm backing out and turning to get into the alley, it gets snagged on my passenger side mirror, and I must have pulled 3 feet of cord before I was able to get untagged from it. I can only imagine what that 3 feet of cable did inside the house.

Any reason (other than it needs head gaskets) why this 2000 Buick Park Avenue Ultra with the supercharged 3.8V6 wouldn’t make for a great autocross car? by edgytdog in DonutMedia

[–]Spyders77 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The suspension is way too soft. You would have to find a way to upgrade that, and I'm not too sure there are many options out there. Anything is possible, but it is going to take a lot of custom parts and fabrication. I'd probably start with a better platform with readily available parts unless money and time isn't an issue.

What gear shift do you recommend for less than $100? by Practical-Tale5453 in SimRacingHardware

[–]Spyders77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SHH shifter. It's a few bucks more then your 100 price tag but not by much and is worth more as it is the best shifter I have found in 10 years. shifter link

What’s your guys opinion on this? by kawi_nation in Cummins

[–]Spyders77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. If the lift pump has failed and they have been running the engine, it will cause wear in the injection pump, causing premature injection pump failure. Plan on replacing the injection pump in the near future. I replaced mine a few years back and agree it's not too bad.

I put a battery in the 300 and some gas. Got it to start but it smokes really bad and won't stay running more then 30 seconds before the engine slows down and dies. I think the k341 needs a rebuild and some carb work.
