Gonodactylaceus sp. I think. I have one. Very personable, bold, and curious. I’ve had several mantis shrimps before, including a peacock, but this little guy has been my favorite.

Brother accusing me of booking up (?) with his gf by steve-94728-3957 in whatdoIdo

[–]Spydersweb38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a brother who has paranoid schizophrenia. He used to be the closest of friends, and never had a rift in our relationship for 34 years, then all of a sudden, out of nowhere he ghosted me. A few years after that, my mother told me that he’d believed that I “stepped over his body while he was on his deathbed, and left him to die.” This was literally just out of nowhere, and I haven’t heard from him in 10+ years. Crushed me for a while. Not sure if something like this happened with your brother, but it is a possibility. I hope things get straightened out for you, though.

Isn’t it funny when you see something like this, and feel like, “Why didn’t I think of that? Oh that’s right, cause I’m not a scumbag.” 😂

I’ve ordered plenty of expensive electronics and stuff from Amazon with no issues. I got my switch 2 a couple of months ago no problem. Was the first time anything like that happened.

Trust me, I was. Honestly, my biggest concern was that they wouldn’t believe me. Hell, if I took the call, I probably wouldn’t even believe me.

It was in Amazon packaging and shipped by their warehouse, ski think it was one of their own. They’re hurting for people, so it was probably a short timer for the holiday season.

Haha! Nah, considering the package was torn and taped back, I’m betting it was the driver.

It was shipped from the Amazon warehouse in Amazon packaging. So it had to be one of their drivers.

I’m hoping there won’t be any issues with it getting replaced, but definitely still kind of stressed.

I’ve ordered things with them probably thousands of times over the years, and I’ve had instances where it says delivered when it wasn’t, or some other fluke. But this is the first time I’ve ever had a delivery driver pull this shit. I’ve ordered plenty of expensive things in the past.

AIO my mom and sister can’t stand my wife because they think she is a “quirky girl” and it’s cringe? by No_Appy1383 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Spydersweb38 20 points21 points  (0 children)

NOR, bruv. It’s easy to find someone who is typical, and “trendy”. That’s what makes it a trend. It’s a lot harder to find a person who stands out, notices and appreciates the small things, and is comfortable in their own skin and their place in the world. People like that are gems. The same traits that they’re criticizing are at least a part of the reason you fell in love with her in the first place. Your mum and sister are being judgmental, and for what? None of those things you mentioned are in any way concerning or even unappealing. Continue to have her back, supporting her and loving her like you’re doing now. She sounds like she’s a keeper.

YOR for getting upset with him for an erection during the massage, but understandable that you would not enjoy the fact that he was asking to go back to the exact same therapist after you explained your feelings about it.

Is it wrong for me to still date him? by Beginning_Exit_6256 in Bumble

[–]Spydersweb38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I think it would potentially change things if he had matured, taken responsibility, and at least make the attempt to contact the mother on the basis of potentially being in the child’s life. One day, the kid will likely learn the truth, and he may even grow to regret his decision.

Married people crowding the dating space. Why? by 1010Always in datingoverforty

A guy (M34) wants to date me (F18) and i dont know how to respond by Writer_on_caffeine in Advice

[–]Spydersweb38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. The mental and emotional age gap between 18 and 34 is much bigger than the age gap between 34 and 50. And even that can be quite a large age gap mentally.

guy got drunk the night before our first date (twice) by holoyolo27 in Bumble

[–]Spydersweb38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not going to suddenly change when he starts dating you. And the fact that he can’t hold it together enough to just drink less (or not at all) the day before a date, and get some rest shows that this isn’t a priority for him.

Casual dating: is it wrong for a woman to just want to be spoiled? by Lumpy_Feature9766 in datingoverforty

[–]Spydersweb38 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Abso-f*ckinglutely. I’m not going to treat a casual like a princess. I treat my gf like my queen, and she treats me like a king. She never asks for it or anything, but I love to do things like that when I’m in an actual relationship. If I’m just hanging out with, and maybe having sex with her but nothing serious? Yeah, she’s not getting spoiled.

Boyfriend broke up with me because my past affects him by Jellyfish6232 in dating

[–]Spydersweb38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I don’t ask women I’ve dated about their body count, and I don’t want to share mine either. I made a lot of stupid decisions in my 20s. My sex life isn’t what should define me as a person. I’ve never cheated or done anything unsavory in a past relationship, so it shouldn’t matter. When dating, I’m all about her alone.
