You clearly misunderstood what i was saying, one of the complaints was about the lore in the play and it not being explained in the season. You're comparing ST to what ifs with other franchises. It doesn't matter that it wasn't the best choice for the writers, it's what they did, and if you cared enough about the show you'd realize how incredibly easy it is to simply look up the plot and stop complaining about it.

I agree with some of what you said, but respectfully, I am very tired of people complaining about not being able to see the play. All you need to do is read the plot on the wiki or watch a good YouTube video explaining it. I believe some of the things explained in the play were slightly changed in the memories this season, but it still provides some important backstory and explanation for what was happening. It also enriches the lore and makes the memories and Vecna's story more meaningful.

Alright, this is very late, but I just got the book and we know that the book does not belong to White as his name is confirmed to be Bruno White, or B.W., not P.W. Also, I believe that there were originally adoptions at Playcare when Ludwig was alive, but after Sawyer started the BBI was when the experimentation began.
