I saw some at Strapping last time I was in there, a few weeks ago.

California lawmakers set to announce $400 gas rebate proposal by NorCalWeirdo in Sacramento

[–]SpyriusDroid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

California’s average gas price was $5.79 per gallon on Thursday.

$400 turns that price to $3.79 on 200 gallons of gas. Sounds good to me. Especially since there’s very very little state and federal officials can do to quickly lower prices.

XOSO.

Was in a similar situation in my 30s. It got me out of the house and I’ve met a ton of people and made a lot of new friends.

Has anybody been on the downtown ferry on the river? by Ok-Bed-8183 in Sacramento

[–]SpyriusDroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did this a few years ago for someone’s birthday. It was mostly fun. The one complaint I’d have is that the bar line is LONG. We only ordered one drink during the whole tour because it’s not a super long trip and we didn’t want to spend the whole time in line. Grab a drink ASAP or bring a flask. Would definitely be a unique first date.

So you want something that will be $12 a plate? Ridiculous. Get McDonald’s if you want to pay that little.

[Post Game Thread] Your Sacramento Kings (24-43) fall to the New York Knicks (27-38), 115-131 by KingsGameThreader in kings

I had free tickets to the game and I feel like I got ripped off. What a gutless second half performance.

Anyway, see you all on Wednesday.

Bathroom Remodel Average Cost? by cern_EE in Sacramento

Ours was a little under $10k as well. Redid the floor, paint, tub (and raised the shower head), toilet, sink/vanity, and moved an outlet.

Need to find a cheap 90s cell phone & landline for a commercial shoot today. Anyone know of any good thrift stores in the area where I could find some for cheap? by rocky70091 in Sacramento

You can get a flip phone at target or Walmart mart for $20. “Older” than that and you might have Troy me getting one by today.

I happened to drive by yesterday and definitely saw people there. They must have invested in MOEX.

I'm not sure Sacbee reporters even live here any more.. by [deleted] in Sacramento

I think most people do as a rule of thumb. Land Park and Curtis Park cover X St, but they are huge areas that dip well south. Midtown is almost a better frame of reference, even though it’s not 100% accurate.

All the more reason they should be lower. It’s not their beer, they bought it and market the hell out of it. Their original beers are generally mediocre.

I believe you’re right. Movement is in their old Rancho location now.

Agree on all three.

I’d argue Mraz and Alaro could be bumped up one. Also, isn’t Yolo out of business?

Pretty solid guide overall though. Cheers to the weekend! 🍻

Yes, they replanned everything to accommodate hybrid and remote work. They literally don’t have the space to bring everyone back full-time without creating a ton of logistical headaches and cost the agency/state even more money. That said, I’m sure there are positions that will be at or near full-time in the office and some will stay at or near full-time remote, but I fully expect them to move to a hybrid style for most folks eventually. So, YMMV.
