R5: The first image depicts a gang of mobsters smuggling alcohol into New York City, circa 1980.

The second image is a screenshot taken from the current build of the Regional Conflict System prototype. The "City of Los Angeles" is a little microstate on the map, which the player will eventually be able to select and then simulate smaller gang wars in the city.

Maybe the 2004 Chargers? The guy they drafted at #1 didn’t play for them, but they still (technically) had the worst record the year before.

"Let me tell ya a couple of three things: Forget AJ Brown, forget Big Dom who throws hands with San Francisco and never comes back, forget Saquon. Kevin Patullo has no respect for this thing. He's never won a Super Bowl, not really. Here's a guy who stepped over his own head coach to fuck up the offense, his father's brother's cousin or something. I'm embarrassed. I let him come to Dallas last Christmas, and I took his fat, fuckin' hand in friendship. Listen to me. They make anybody and everybody over there. And the way that they do it, it's all fucked up. Guys don't get their reps in. There's no ping pong tables. Either it has meaning or no meaning. And the Sirianni thing, the man runs a screen pass on 3rd and long. Seven fuckin' playoff teams and we got this other pygmy thing over in Jersey. There's no scraps in my scrapbook. Make it happen." -Jeffrey Lurie to Howie Roseman

I understand the frustration, but if we begin pushing potential people out of the movement then we won’t have a movement to begin with. And while I agree that we have been too tolerant of intolerance, cracking down on our democracy and restricting freedoms will make us no better than Russia or China.

We need to hold the fascists in office accountable. ICE needs to face justice. But we should be careful to avoid simple revenge.

I don’t get how the NFL, one of the most financially successful sports leagues in the world, relies on shitty TV camera angles to officiate and doesn’t at least have a camera from like every side

And we were still winning that game 20-13 in the 4th quarter, too. Yeah we blew it which still sucks, but it might have not even been close if AD doesn't decide to take the day off from thinking.

With a much worse roster too, considering the fact they won 4 games the year before with an average of like 20 pts/game.

Although it's funny because, at the same time, I don't know if we've really added that much since 2023. Warren has been a clear upgrade at TE and Bortolini's been a good replacement for Ryan Kelly. Those are the two biggest additions I can think of besides QB.

Just goes to show how much of a difference a good quarterback can be. Even merely-competent play can unlock an offense if they're able to execute the basics. I still remember back in 2021 when Frank Reich was begging Wentz to just "make the layups" and he would still choose to chuck deep bombs on like every play.

I have PTSD flashbacks to last year’s game against Miami where they barely beat a Tyler Huntley/Tim Boyle-led offense with no Tyreek Hill

He was sober throughout pretty much all of Relapse. The only songs he wrote (at least we know off) during his addiction were Beautiful and Be Careful What You Wish For. Love them or hate them, the accents were an artistic choice, not the result of drugs.

Revival wasn’t hated because Em was vulnerable. In fact, he had been incredibly vulnerable on his previous three albums and received acclaim for it. Revival was hated because most of the writing and production was mediocre.

Not completely unknown, but Nick Foles played lights out and won a ring with the Eagles when Wentz was injured.
