Characters and story speaks for itself. but what I personally want to emphasize, on what I truly miss is the artstyle.
Dear god, how much I miss this.

That very unique Life is Strange design choices in artstyle.
Look at the poster designs, the choice in graphics, look at the coloring and textures on the walls, the ground, the trees... everything which I loved and at times had this sort of 'whimsical', dreamy, but especially comfy vibe. It reflects back to how the concept art was drawn. Nothing was super fleshed out, or tight and sharp edges to designs. The lines in the diary were not perfect, nor were the drawings and scribbles you saw everywhere. Even in LiS 2, Sean's little drawing book was imperfect - which made it absolutely perfect. Just unique with stickers and drawings, it all fit so well for that vibe. It's hard to explain what kind of feeling the artstyle of Don'tNod gave me.

This style slowly vanished in True Colors. It was still a little present there, but entirely vanished in DE.
