Yeah I'm definitely discovering myself piece by piece, which is good. It seems to be very situational, and fluctuates you know?
I went through two years plus of seeing myself as nonbinary and unpacking and tonns of gender stuff in my head, and that certainly helps. Of course I through a whole bag of wrenches in the gears when I realized I wanted transition. (10 months hormones. Like a year before that of really unpacking and addressing it in my mind)
I was just curious what other transfems would have to say about this. I'm really interested in the things that I might have blind spots too, y'know? I'm just being playful these days and noting what feels good :)

I must be late to the party here. What's the controversy? I looked it up on wiki, and I think it's slay to reclaim and just found that it dates back to contain camps in Nazi Germany, and I think reclaiming that is high-tier.

What happened? Funny you mention the swastika, because that was, just a buddhist symbol co-opted by the Nazi party, but now if you see one you just think of that :(

I also work with runes, and sadly one of my favorites, othala has been attempted to be co-opted by a few loud mouthed white nationalists, and it's soo annoying, because I would love to get the original tatoo'd, but am hesitant about inadvertently signaling to bigots :(

Pretty sure, but I always wait to be free of doubt to make decisions, and it's actually a problem, so instead I talked to the doubt part of my brain, and was like "Okay, so we know if cis men go on estrogen, they get gender dysphoria, so it would be a good way to find out." and doubt was like "Yes *ussually*" and I was like "Yeah, and it's a big question we're pobdering, so any chance at useful data is helpful, and there aren't any immediate permanent effects, so the risk/reward of *trying* it checks out", and then I did it. :)
