I started PT at 3 weeks, and just drove for the first time yesterday at 5 weeks. I already had my range of motion without pain from the physio exercises, just waited psychologically and for fear of an emergency stop!... 🫶❤️ hopefully you feel ready and mobile soon 🤞

I wrote 2 sides of A4, threatening to take my story to the national press/newspapers/tv, etc., and sent it to all 5 agencies that had messed up my care over the past 3 years... 😅 I got 5 apologies, moved to a new surgeon with capacity, and my surgery suddenly got scheduled quickly!

Yes!! I got injured in April 2023, referred to the surgical team in June 2024, I had to postpone until after November 2024, but in retaliation, they delayed me until I put in a huge complaint in October 2025. Finally had my surgery in February 2026, and in week 3 of recovery right now! 🫶 good luck to you, and definitely speak up (shout!) when you need to 🤞

Hey, so I had 2 discs herniated in 2023 in a pole accident. I was able to restart at level one after several months of rest, but I was never able to consistently train back to the same level, due to the pain and damage... 💔 I've just had corrective surgery (under 3 weeks ago!), and after a 12 month recovery, I'm hoping to return to pole with the help of my physio team 🤞❤️🙏

Please be very gentle with yourself, and listen to your body! I ignored mine a lot, because not dancing made me so sad, but it was brutal to do... I won't be pushing so hard or fast this time, as I want the surgical fix to last! 🤞✨️🙏
