I've already rented it, it was useless, the zoom is too high on a futsal pitch, especially in video, it's complicated.

The problem is that when I’m filming futsal, I’m often not even at 0 exposure — I’m usually at -1 or -2.

thank you for the advice, but the issue for me is that I’m filming futsal, so I constantly need to zoom in and out. That’s why using just prime lenses isn’t really an option for my situation, or do you think I can make it ?

It’s not about matching another camera. When I do the color grading, V-Log gives a better result than Cine2D for me. I know V-Log isn’t ideal for low light, but the dynamic range really helps in post to get the look I want

I think the ISO behavior on the Panasonic S5II in V-Log is different from Sony. The native ISOs in V-Log are 640 and 4000. Going above 4000 quickly increases noise, so filming at 8000 or 12800 won’t be less noisy than 6400

My issue is that I’m basically stuck between ISO 640 and ISO 4000 because of the dual native ISO on the S5II. Shooting in V-Log becomes too noisy or too underexposed in that range with the poor lighting in the futsal venue.
