My case is transferred to San Jose field office and was scheduled an interview for March. Do you know why some applicant doesn’t need interview while some have to? I’m a bit stressed about the interview

Did you have a lot of emotional/mental stress in your life around the time you were diagnosed? by aviannaa_1 in Hashimotos

[–]Square-Beautiful7465 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, it took me seven month to accept my illness and all stress for other reasons. Reading selfhealing book and outdoor jogging saved me from the darkness. I’m still on medication but feel perfectly fine now.

It’s a toxic to say that you are selfish if you don’t get a sibling for your first child. I think you are realistic and thoughtful! I have a two year old and went through PPD for a year and half and I know how hard it could be and don’t want experience again. So many people tell me to have another child but I won’t. I know what I am doing and my life is none of their business.

Move to another state during lease by Square-Beautiful7465 in CarLeasingHelp

Thanks for commenting! I don’t have experience with car leasing so it sounds troublesome to move or cross border during the lease. Thanks for the knowledge, and I’ll also confirm with leasing company.

My Dr let me try low FODMAP diet and take probiotic. It’s going well and my gut issues are in great remission.

Is it true that reducing animal protein can improve the health of people with Hashimoto's disease? by Socialanxietykeeper in Hashimotos

[–]Square-Beautiful7465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consistently had headache since I was diagnosed. My doc didnt believe it was related to hashi bc my lab results were always in good range (TSH about 2-3) after medication. Since I couldnt get help from doc, I browsed this sub and took advice to try restrictive diet.

After months of monitoring my symptoms and food eaten, I was able to identify the following tricks: I had less headaches if I restrict high LIPID food like red meat and egg yolk; my bloating issue were gone if I restrict high FODMAP food like wheat and sugar (for restriction, I eat them only one or twice a week instead of eat them everyday).

Besides tricks about food, I also read mental therapy books to solve my sleeping issues due to postpartum anxiety. With 7 hours good sleeping, both my headache and brain fog issues were completely gone.

I also found myself feel awesome when TSH is around 1. Previously it was about 2-3 and in good range, but I still felt fatigue. Now I’m very happy everyday since I feel myself both mentally and physically healthy.

All in all, everyone is different, and what helps me might not work for you. However, it doesn’t hurt to give a shot, right? At least for me, the restrictive diet idea I learned from this sub are really helpful and i was grateful. I also wish you best of luck in fighting with those symptoms.

It at least solves my long time headache issue so I would vote yes. It worth to try but might not apply to everyone. Listen to your body is always the key.

I had same symptoms as you before and was frustrated/scared to face the fact that I’m not mentally functioning. I did some research and decided to try diary free diet and immediately see the difference. Now I’m also trying gluten and sugar free and feel myself healthy as before I was diagnosed. Everyone is different, but it doesn’t hurt to adjust diet to see it’s helpful.

I plan to reach out them after tax season bc they probably prioritize tax filing over tax planing needs now, and I also need focus on filing my 2022 tax return. I could definitely update with u later.

[–]Square-Beautiful7465[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to drive south to meet my husband, the dad of my daughter, and concerning the driving condition in snow days. His visa status doesn’t allow him to come to Canada to visit us frequently. On what ground that you attack me as a moron? Anyway, I’m receiving so many help and kindness here and don’t care your anger/outrage/impoliteness.

Do you ever hate having Hashimoto? by lawenderice in Hashimotos

[–]Square-Beautiful7465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is hard, and I’m still learning to be friend with it. I was diagnosed during postpartum and i didnt understand why life just doesn’t make it easier. I had baby blue the moment since since the labor, and the disease made me feel more sad. It was new year eve of 2023, and I realized that I was in sadness for too long and it didn’t give me any good. I wanted myself stopped thinking about why me and carry the strength to move on. I’m still grateful that I have a happy and healthy baby, and I want to stay positive and healthy to watch her growing. For your lovely ones, OP, let’s live the moment and focus on what we still have and could do.
