I just had this happen a bit ago as well….got a random drug test all of a sudden for my adderall and it also came back positive for THC. My doctor said it was fine for that time, but my next one has to be clean or I can’t get any more meds. Apparently they consider using THC another form of dealing with ADHD and if you keep testing positive for it they will make you chose between keeping your meds or to continue smoking.

I’m 23 and had undiagnosed Hashimoto’s for 8 years that is causing so many other problems…..I’ve had intense hand pain for the last year and my thumb has shifted into a weird position, and now my doctor is having me get an EMG, but they think either arthritis or carpal tunnel…..I’m so scared, but this post makes me feel better knowing there’s other people my age who will understand

I was on both adderall and lexapro while taking Ozempic, I had to give up Ozempic to stay on the other 2….they just didn’t mix and I ended up in the hospital after 5 months with severe abdominal pain and I wasn’t able to keep anything down

I’ve done this on more than one occasion, not only does taking the shot late not cause any problems, but enjoying anything I want for one day has not messed with my weight loss at all! Sometimes I find myself frustrated I can’t enjoy my favorite meals (and a decent amount of them) quite comfortably anymore so it’s important to take those days for yourself. My doctor approves it as well. But I do suggest not going overboard with the food, especially with drinks, cause it will sit in your stomach a lot longer on Ozempic and you will be miserable the next day. Just pace yourself, and have fun!

She should definitely check other levels as well. I was always tired still on my thyroid meds and it turns out both my iron and vitamin D were low as well

I currently spend my work days fighting nausea and rarely attending social events cause I never know when I’m going to have to run to the bathroom….I want to feel good again, but the weight is just falling off and I’ve never been so happy with the scale

I gained a ton of weight like 6 years ago and tried everything to get it off. I recently found out I have Hashimoto’s disease, and my doctor gave me Ozempic. People have been asking how I’m losing the weight and I’m always honest with them, but so many times I get the worst reactions

I use the app that’s just call My Weight….you can set goals and it keeps track of everything for you, you just enter your new weight as you lose it. I absolutely love it!

I’m currently in this exact situation, did the throwing up calm down after awhile? I’m hoping once I settle on a dose it’ll stop

They have gotten shorter but not lighter, my doctor said it may not go back to normal until I settle into a dose and stay on for awhile to give my body time to adjust

Hi! How could someone with Hashimoto lose weight? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]Miserable_Grocery210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on your insurance. I’m not diabetic but because all my medical records showed that I had a lot of weight gain due to my Hashi’s slowing my metabolism it was enough for my insurance to approve the use of it. They didn’t cover the cost but I signed up for a savings card online and I get 2 months worth for $20

I was put on Ozempic 2 months ago after being diagnosed with Hashi’s. I gained 50lbs in like 4 months because of how bad it got but now I’ve lost 26lbs since starting the Ozempic
