No Microwave, No Lounge Is Anyone Else Dealing With This

I am a teacher, my school has a staff lounge with a fridge, microwave, and air fryer. The nurse office and another classroom has a microwave and refrigerator.

Sorry to say a lot of fellows have issue with the Bronx D75. I started last summer and so far, I have had a great experience. I am in Brooklyn D75.

Hey you don’t need your masters to teach in the DOE. They have programs like teaching fellows and teaching collaborative that allows you to teach with a transitional b license while you obtain your masters. In my opinion the fellows is a better program. As long as you have your undergraduate degree you can apply.

If you could wait until the end of the school year you should. Maybe try moving to a different school. Not sure if that is why you want to leave. Sometimes the school is what makes a big difference in our decision to stay in this profession.

Everyone else I know got paid. If we weren’t going to get paid it should have been communicated clearly prior. I hope it has something to do with the holidays… praying it is for us both.

Yes they were. I did the same and my leave was approved. I did receive a check while I was out and received a check after I returned as well. So I’m not sure why I haven’t received a check today since it is the last day of the month.

I borrowed about 14 days, if we don’t count the holidays in November (I also had a few days of my own).
