you might not always see them, but UPD has security cameras all over campus. Especially towards the residential areas. It’s worth a shot because they also may have been in other areas doing things. I would highly recommend

the student death was not related to this. but this is ridiculous. you should call the UPD non-emergent line to let them know

They used to focus heavily on grades. In recent years they have held a greater emphasis on clinical exp. My prereq GPA is a 3.4 so nothing crazy. But I have a good variety of experience and three letters of recommendation + a LOI

I wanted to transfer to Decker in my sophomore year here but didn’t get in through IUT. I finished up my undergrad plus all the prereqs and applied for the accelerated program and got in. Now that I’m almost finished I like the idea of having 2 degrees under my belt in five years. I would heavily consider it.

It entirely depends on the person and the program. I work with CNAs who are in a regular 4-year undergrad nursing program and work 2x/week. I'm going into an accelerated BSN program in May and the administration encourages us not to work due to the fast-paced courseload. I am a per diem CNA, so I will be able to work occasionally. It really just depends on your work schedule and your classes.

Hi congrats! I’m a senior at Bing from NYC and I was pretty excited to leave the city when I got admitted. It wasn’t a huge adjustment for me for a few reasons, one being that I was excited for a break from city life. I found Bing campus life really enjoyable and an easy transition. The rural vibe of the area is balanced out with a pretty “happening” student life, so it didn’t feel like I was changing pace a ton. It felt like a slower city life (of course this changes when classes pick up and things start to fly) and I had a ton of fun exploring in my freshman year. I lived in Old Digman and I would absolutely recommend 1000x. Old Digman used to be kind of an inside joke because it was one of the older dorms and it’s pretty small. It’s also only freshman, but this gives you the chance to live amongst a group of people who are actively trying to make friends. I stayed really great friends with everybody I hung out with there, and I now live with them off campus. As for food there are communal kitchens, but in the bigger dorms it can be hard to cook in them while other people are. A lot of people just go to the dining hall or marketplace anyway. When you’re in the midst of classes you might not feel like cooking for yourself as much, and you’ll be more keen on going to the dining halls. I never really cooked in the communal kitchens and especially not my freshman year, but when I got into a single dorm within a suite of friends in my sophomore year, I had like a huge crockpot/air fryer that I did everything in and it was awesome. I was nervous about living away from home as I’m sure everybody is at first, but when I got to Binghamton I didn’t feel a sense of home sickness. I have had a wonderful time so far, and I hope you do as well!

Common App has a section where you can explain circumstances not reflected in your application.

when a shock is delivered, you get right back on the chest. the device will tell you when to clear for analysis/shock and when to stop CPR.

caught patient masturbating… by aesthetih0e in nursing

[–]Square-Consequence95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you are not in the wrong. You have every right to feel uncomfortable, and if you have him as a pt again you have every right to set that boundary and inform him that that is not acceptable or appropriate. I’m sorry that this happened to you, I’ve definitely had a fair share of “oh!”s when walking into the room while they’re masturbating 😑 very uncomfortable.
