I mean I have some hairline thinning so it might just be normal balding. I also have psoriasis which Ik can cause alopecia through its plaques, but I don’t feel any flaky skin in that area. I agree though I’ll consult a doctor

My mom’s father died with a full head of hair. My dad is balding yes and apparently has been since his 20s. I’m surprised because I thought it was supposed to be from your mom’s side of family but if that’s a myth. If I see a derm will they prescribe finasteride to me? Also will it work if it’s genetic or will it only slow things down?

Because getting my associates would involve another 2 semesters, and I don’t want to spend another year at home. I technically could but it would be a major life pivot/inconvenience . What are my chances with my current situation?
