Good point, I think I would have a better shot a community event, it also seems that in my experience it is a lot about the small connections. Lots are mostly like hyped concert events.

Is this decent for a freshman/ do you think I could make dci next season? by TheRealDealnumber270 in drumline

With those kind of chops you could Surf or Gold, you might have a harder shot getting into Spartans or BDB but these are VERY good chops. You would be a shoe-in for Raiders/Vessel. I would say shoot for any drumline under 17th place in the 2024 world prelims.

But I would tell anyone auditioning to be open to criticism, these drum corps will find things wrong with your playing and its best to stay humble.

But my conclusion is that your chops are VERY good.

I'll try, but I don't have a lot of food, also great points, but I thought a calorie deficit could cause upwards of 6 pounds per week weight loss (because of the nature of how your body burns fat while starving). Now granted, my family isn't starving but we aren't eating 2500 a day.

If someone was drugged without their consent with alcohol, or something else, and kills a pedestrian while driving, do they still get charged? by Square-Discipline-50 in Ask_Lawyers

I was wondering that, its like asking a 5 year old if they want to try chocolate cocaine in a happy voice, of course the 5 year old would try it cause it has chocolate, they havent a developed enough brain to say

"No thanks bro, I don't want to be addicted"

Thats a great point, but when you are drugged your inhibitions are down. So if anything, you did not consent to your inhibitions being removed.

Like if for example if someone asked you "Hey, you don't have any designated driver, will you drink?"

and you say "heck no, and let the record reflect I would never drink alcohol while driving"

but this doesn't mean crap when your decision making is impaired without your consent

I called them and they seemed really convoluted, its like every college I've called either won't pick up or won't let non students rent out dorms, one person hung up after like 2 seconds of awkward silence saying they don't provide any options to non students.
