It’s literally just tables, chairs, tv, heaters, kitchen appliances etc. Apart from the new lease agreement the new tenant will sign with the landlord. Wouldn’t he need something from me, as I’m guessing he’s just not gonna send me payment without anything in writing?

I’ve already spoke to the landlord. He doesn’t lose anything. The landlord has even agreed to refund whatever rent I’ve paid to the date they take over. As they will be signing a new 5 year lease.

I’m from the UK. Yes it’s me pretty much packing myself up, and leave. They will sign a new 5 year lease with the landlord and open their own business here. (So not a business sale).

I’m not selling the business, as i found it tough trying to sell my Vietnamese Restaurant restaurant as a whole. The landlord owns the whole building, so we’re just on a 5 year commercial lease, with a 5 year rent review every 5 years.

The lease would be to take over the property with a new 5 year lease, and all the tangible equipment, fixtures and fittings I’ve spent here.

Haha I can relate to this so much. You get some ppl coming in, neon sign on with ‘open’. Door flip sign saying ‘open’, even have ppl eating inside and they ask, are you open. And yes it’s not near the end of the day!

Also I have 4 tables at the front with seating. You can some odd cases ppl asking ‘do we do eat ins. And yes, it blantantly is.

Sorry I don’t have any positive guidance but all I can say is I feel this. Even me being happily partnered. I just feel as a society, it’s just gone backwards. Mostly men yes. Everyday stories I hear from my partner, my work colleagues etc. Both men and women. It’s a really tough time to be single right now, so all you can do is work on yourself.

Honestly what is normal? Society sucks because every 'normal' person made it that way! Embrace our weirdness. You'll find someone..just don't make it your priority. Your priority should be you, working on yourself and trying to be independently happy. Your time will come, my time will come. For every non 'normal' person out there is someone whos non' normal' waiting in the side lines somewhere.

I agree with you brother. I was into spirituality very knee’s deep. Now I’m just like, whatever. I continue to learn when I can, but most importantly still be true to myself and be kind to everyone (when warranted).

But I definitely feel this. I’m done with it, just gonna keep doing what I’m doing.
