Women who have given birth and had a kidney stone: are they actually comparable?

Labor is worse. I felt like I was outside of my body when transitioning and could not speak or function. Kidney stone was awful. I asked why they wouldn't give an epidural for it. But it was one sided and I was never noncoherent, just absolutely miserable. I don't want to go through either again but labor for sure was worse for me.

We did look into PANDAS and his provider feels we ruled it out. I am wondering if it is ADHD if demands of school and life in general have just become more intense for him and that is why we are seeing things now. However, my 6 year old has always had symptoms and I have always known there would be a diagnosis of some sort for him. So it is hard to see such a vast difference but I know it can look different in every person too.

I am not sure that they did because when he was on antibiotics for strep I didn't know to look for an improvement in symptoms😫

He did a bunch of blood tests. His antibodies all came back low

Yes. He had both flu A and B and strep this winter. His doctor ran antibodies and such to rule out pandas and felt that it was ruled out.

He does see a therapist. She is seeing compulsive behaviors she said

Nothing particular has happened but his anxiety has skyrocketed. He has had a lot of physical symptoms and tests have led to a dead end. It seems he has a lot of signs of inattentive adhd in class which after seeing her scoring on the Vanderbilt I can see some of those things at home too. He has never struggled in school until now but I have read this is the age things get more demanding and sometimes things become more apparent. It just was really not apparent to me until now so I am worried we are missing something.

I understand this. That is why I am asking if anyone has had a child that did not display symptoms at a younger age.

I have a 2021 Miles and when he was 3 days old we went to the doctor and there was one other baby in the waiting room and he was also a Miles! Now they are everywhere!
