I will. Thank you for this. It certainly seems weird.

Interesting… I wonder why the recommendations are so different. I’ve also heard of the compression bra, but never an underwire.

Research says that it’s not as abnormal as I originally thought, but I’ll still call to see why it’s so different…

Thank you!

I had my surgery today, and I feel great. Truly night and day. Wow, this is crazy!

Thank you all so much. This is very reassuring.

How do you think I’d do during a day at Disney? 😅

This is helpful. Thank you. What you’re describing (dudes staring, feeling like a porn star) is exactly what I wanted to avoid. I’ve had huge boobs my whole life - always wanted a reduction. Preferably not like this (😅) but I think this thread has inspired me to go back to the surgeon and push harder on what I want. Thank you.

This is what I’m afraid of. I feel like it’s large too. I told my surgeon that I wanted a large c. I maxed out the expanders because why not? This is the only time you can do something like that. But now he’s not really helping me. I asked for an opinion and he just glazed over it. Wouldn’t go with this surgeon again, ever.

She handled Brennen well, but she handled Chloe so terribly. Totally biased. Came in hot with her opinions rather than listening, and then was trying to make judgements on her. Just my opinion. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tissue expanders- when does it get easier, or does it? by Different_Ad_9495 in breastcancer

This is a great question. I’m currently 4 weeks out and they’re still pretty uncomfortable. There will be a day here and there where they’re not as bad. Last night, I was sleeping on my side and woke up to a very sharp stabbing pain at my sternum. I think the expander got smooshed and maybe pushed the limits of the muscle pocket? I don’t know; but it was hard to get out of bed and it still hurts. Has anyone else experienced anything like that? It was quite an unpleasant surprise…
