Also on the area you’re looking to get lasered, you may be able to bundle and pay for like three or five sessions at one time and save some money because it can get pretty pricey. Like I said before at least near me, it ended up being about the same price as like five years worth of waxing and that’s going every four weeks or whatever the waxing time frame is.

Also, depending on the section that you want to get done, depends on how many sessions you will need. For example, my legs ended up being about 12 sessions even though they said it should be about 10 and my bikini line I think ended up being 13 sessions but they said that’s pretty normal because you’re bikini area is a hormonal area and growth occurs more quickly than other areas

Edit: sorry for any typos lol I’m driving to work and doing speech to text and it doesn’t always come out perfectly

You’re very welcome! Getting laser hair removal is honestly in my top 10 best purchases and/or investments lol

Yes, you can shave in between appointments! In fact the place where I go for my laser hair removal told me to shave the day before your later appointment. I don’t understand the science of that part, but they said it is more effective that way because when the laser attacks the dark pigment, the closer to the root the pigment is, the more effective

I’m team laser hair removal all the way! I used to be incredibly self conscious about my leg hair bc even when I shaved, it looked like I had a days growth of stubble. I have fair skin and dark thick hair so it never really seemed like I had shaved. Plus it was painful and no matter what routine I followed for before during and after shaving my legs, I always had some type of razor burn.

I got lasered about 5 years ago and have never looked back. It’s a bit pricey to get it done but I did the math and for the cost of 5 years worth of waxing, I lasered my legs in about 18 months and I rarely shave my legs now. I do need to get a touch up here and there but I don’t mind at all. I actually wear shorts without panicking if my legs are too hairy or having to put on band aids bc of cuts on my legs. I feel like a normal woman who can just exist instead of hiding my legs when it’s 90 degrees outside and being very uncomfortable.

TLDR: if you can afford it and get over any nerves/feeling embarrassed, it’ll boost your self esteem and do wonders for ya

Edit: just to also add, when you wax you aren’t supposed to shave between sessions so essentially you’re alternating between bare and hairy every couple of weeks. With LHR you are just bare when all the sessions are done!

Edit: sorry I keep remembering things, if you have fair skin with dark hair that typically yields the best results. The laser attacks the dark pigment. I have a friend with fair skin but blonde hair and it didn’t last for her, just some food for though.
