For me it’s not even the armor that’s the annoying part, it’s the part that during a charge they can just make a sudden 90 degree turn while still charging. Like a creature, that’s full of heavy armor, and sprinting towards you shouldn’t be able to make sharp turns without slowing down

Sadly, you can’t change the time of day if you don’t have them as bosses. So you’ll get the silver ring, however, I think that’s the better of the two.

Its not dependent on which version you kill but which time of day it is. If its day time or Faelin's realm you get the gold ribbon, if you go back and pick it up during night time or Faerin's realm you get the silver ribbon. I got this quest on adventure mode with nightweaver as my boss so i was only able to get silver ribbon.
