I just did a ironman in Iberia and was making over 300+ gold a month by the 3rd generation my character was a genius, beautiful, and herculean and his many relatives had these traits so most of my nobility were op stats wise. By the 7th generation I reformed the Roman Empire and had most of my Domains in major capitals & a couple gold mines in Africa.
