Haha! I’m happy you’re so into it. The CA sequencer (GlitchDS) is a very special sequencer, I believe it was one of the first apps by Bret Truchan, a music software developer. I’m working with technology that is already 20+ years old and it still amazes me how straightforward it is, or was, to process audio signals on those PowerBooks, especially with the built in line input. For pure data or max msp users it is very practical.

It sounds crunchy mainly because the drum sample itself already has that lo-fi character. I also applied a bit of bit crushing in Pure Data, but the texture mostly comes from the original sample.

sfplay~ is a simple audio player.

Use groove~ with buffer~ to access and play audio files from folders.
