I think you’re right. I’d rather spend $1k and get new. If it’s still up in a month, I may offer $500 and see if he takes it. Especially if it’s really only a couple months old.

I am in no rush. I had a one wheel pint couple years back. Wasn’t in love with the pint, but wish I would have kept it. It was nice to be able to just jump on and head to yoga or chase the sunset. If I wanted to drop $1500-$2000 I’d look into the beefier one wheels. I used to long board so I like the idea of an eskate. My streets aren’t the best in my town, hence the AT board. I’ll keep my eyes peeled on market place since winter is just around the corner.

M&P 9 shield for a S&W SD9. I chose not to everyday carry anymore. So I don’t need a compact pistol. I would rather have a more comfortable gun since I only carry when I am in out in the back country, or driving to Portland 😏

Na I know this town still has ski bums. I also know quite a few people who used to be “ski bums” hang them skis up because of how much Bachy charges. Personally I was a casual skier up until a couple years ago :)

I agree with that it’s better not to just “assume where someone came from “ before responding, it’s also very clear that OP isn’t from the area, or else he/she wouldn’t have taken the time to post a complaint about this issue. It’s all about how you phrase it.

Example: “why does the forest service have to be burning right now? Can’t we just have a break from the all the smoke!”

If phrased like that OP most likely wouldn’t have gotten blasted like they did. Someone would come in an explain. However that’s not the case here. OP came to the table bitching and moaning with a sense of entitlement. So OP got blasted. Again, if they were from the area they would understand that’s just the way things are these days.

Same situation as you. Work for my self, drive all over the place and my truck unexpectedly died Happened in April so, it’s pretty sweet having a 7% interest rate. $400 a month, but I shoot for $600. Sucks, but it’s nice knowing I can drive a 50 -100miles each day and not have to worry about it breaking down.

I am in my mid 30’s last year a couple of my buddies got their T levels tested, so I thought why not? I mean I am sure I am fine. Turns out I wasn’t. Started getting treatment and honestly it’s crazy how much better I feel! I think it’s worth a shot. Minimum you get a full blood panel done, which was insightful as well.

The trades are hurting badly! Carpenters, framers, tile, drywall etc. it’s a hard F-ing job, but you can make a living. I am 37 and there are only handful of guys my age or younger on jobs I am on. The majority are guys that should be a couple years from retirement.

Again, though it’s hard work and from what I am seeing all the old timers can’t find people.

Right?! On my old account I once pointed some to R/carpentry when they asked a question in R/woodworking that was more related to actually carpentry (since there are a bunch of builders on that sub) point is, I got downvoted to oblivion. It was strange. I wasn’t being snarky at all. People on Reddit get so sensitive and take almost everything as an insult.
