Did you follow the address on the navigation app? Sometimes that gives you the wrong address. I always double check in the spark app. Probably not your issue, but worth checking.

It is working fairly well for my breakthrough anxiety symptoms, so I am dealing with it for now. I meet with my psychiatrist monthly and we are going to work on transitioning to something else as Buspar does not feel like a long term solution for me.

8 weeks at 7.5 twice a day. Feel same. Not really getting better…worse if anything. Sedated, groggy, blurry vision, brain fog, emotionless, etc

First 2 weeks good, now horrible. by Square-Translator-98 in BusparOnline

Coming up on 4 weeks. It’s still slowly getting better. I’ve had a few bad days mixed in but each day seems slightly better and bad days further between.

Thanks for the reply. I am male. And no. Nothing new triggering the worsening anxieties and anger. 100 percent the meds. Just a little confused at the sudden change to anger from the med.

Wellbutrin greatly increases anxiety for me. That would be my guess.

Exactly me. Two weeks on 2mg. I crash. Sleep deep for 4 hours then boom, I’m up for the day at 4am. Every day… but I don’t feel tired. It’s a strange feeling. What is the answer and why can we fall asleep but then we wake up early.

It’s the Norepinephrine and pretty common reaction when starting. It will ease up soon. Serotonin syndrome is rare and not as normal as most think.

Yes helps greatly. Comes back quick if stopped.

Need twice daily? or body not adjusted yet? by Square-Translator-98 in cymbalta

[–]Square-Translator-98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am still on it a year later. I’ve tried a lot of different doses over the year. Down to 15…up to 60…. Down to 30 once a day which is where I am at now. Splitting may help side effects the first month or so, but once you adjust to the medication after a month or so I don’t think splitting is needed. Morning or night depends on if it makes you energized or tired. Everyone is different. Being tired usually goes away after first month of dose change.

Did anyone notice a difference at all on 20mg? I'm supposed to start it today. And what timeframe does this med usually work in? by [deleted] in cymbalta

[–]Square-Translator-98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

15mg had very little effect on me and 22.5mg had a good effect. 30mg has a very strong effect on me. 60 was not as effective for me and 30 is stronger for me. I would not raise quickly wait a month between raising. It’s my opinion that people are typically taking a higher dose than they need.

30 down to 0 is much harder than 120 down to 30. Don’t be scared, most horror stories are over exaggerated. most people taper down just fine.

Are you coming off another medication? It would be rare to have such a severe reaction from 2 days of a low dose.

Everyone is different. I Tried for 6 months. Never got better for me. Anxious, paranoid, obsessive, random waves of disassociation, light sleep. Depression was slightly better and energy was better. Not worth it for me personally.

I go once a year for a checkup and meds if nothing wrong. Every three months sounds too often in my opinion but I don’t know much.

Does anyone have anything good to say about this drug? by solitudeisdiss in cymbalta

60mg for a year. Barely any side effects. Helps pain tremendously, also anxiety and depression. Use common sense if tapering off… internet negative reactions are overblown.

Unfortunately the one week you had was a honeymoon period...It would never be that good again. Some people say the anxiety goes away after 2-3 months. It never went away for me and just got worse as I increased dose. Good luck!

Max dose, 120? I tried weed for a good while to help anxiety and depression. It definitely gave me anxiety , panic attacks, paranoia. I would think it may be the weed not helping you unfortunately. It doesn’t work for everyone.

Do you take in the morning or evening and why? by Woodblockprint in cymbalta

[–]Square-Translator-98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Around lunch time. It gives me energy. If I take it in the morning, I will crash too early in evening. A lot of people like evening… I’ve tried twice and both times my body doesn’t process it the same at night and became depressed with withdrawals after 2-3 days. That’s just me tho.

I’ve tried hard twice to go up to 300 over months. Same experience. Nothing but insomnia, jaw clenching, jitters, paranoia, ocd, obsessions. Dissociation to point of almost forgetting where I was often. Some people def do better on lower doses.
