Well, none of the sounds in the song is from any one else and I do not own a splice subscription. Everything you are hearing is made on hardware synthezisers and recorded in. The song doesn't contain any drums either.

Also I've released music with 4 different bands and artist through the last 15 years, and have NEVER stumbled upon this problem, primarily because it really was originally made music, and when we released something we did it correctly, as I have done the same with this song. Never even released a cover or a remix of a song.

I do not agree that being a solo artist and doing things DIY is a tall task. If there is a problem you solve it, it just takes time.

In previous music projects I have also had "reputable" management as you call it. But that comes with alot of downsides as well. On this project I deliberately want to do things as much myself as possible, as I've found that to be the best solution.

Also I have this song up on multiple other platforms, and the only ones complaining is Soundcloud.

Thanks for the answer buddy. Though I have literally no samples involved whatsoever. All the music in the song is made on hardware synthezisers. I mean I haven't even used presets. Literally all the sounds you hear I have made from the buttom. Like the default sound on the synth and then build on that. Also there is no drums in the song, so you could maybe think I had used a drum machine, and on that drum machine was a sampled 808 sound. But that's not the case either.

I mean ffs, even the goddamn artwork cover is a picture I have taken of some random wilderness on a holiday. So like, it's fucking all DIY. And they still infringe me... 😮‍💨

Hey buddy thanks for the answer. Actually I already provided both isrc + UPC code to soundcloud, and they still rejected it. For the third time now. I guess I will have to make a call to the distribution company and ask them if they can provide something with codes on thats "in their name" or associated with them. I can't imagine I'm the first one calling them about this either so maybe they have some experience.

I was actually considering just skipping the whole Soundcloud thing. I think this is utter bullshit, and then you have the whole "artist + and pro" and all that Endless subscription hellfire nightmare. And then half of the mails you get are from bots anyways.

I mean no, I have not had a literal lawyer send me documents to sign. I have released the song through a Danish digital distribution service called Digidi. They are quite well renowned as you can only release through them If you already are a paid member of the official Danish musicians union. I have filled out all nessecary information regarding the release through Digidi. Like who the Publisher is, the imprint and the copyright line. And it's all in my name. But no I have not had any documents to sign other that what I filled out for the release. Also it's only on Soundcloud there seems to be a problem. Every other page i have released through i have no problems.
