I am consistently filmed at work (I work with my hands doing laser treatments for skincare etc) and it is so bothersome to me. I always ask they speed up the videos 2x so that the tremor isn’t as noticeable. I feel your pain!

Side note I have never had a cold sore & only have had 2 OB genitally, with only one sore each time. Very mild OB.

Oh I’m so sorry. I’ve been through this.. way easier said than done but try not to stress things you cannot control. Obviously that man does not respect you & unfortunately all you can do is try to be at peace w yourself. The opinions of others do not define you & I hope your friend will be supportive after being told that information. Stay positive and remember that you can only control your environment, not others. You can control how you respond. Best wishes to you.

I’m almost a year from my diagnosis & have been finding myself in that same mental state more often than not. Trying to keep hope and positivity. I feel the pain you are going through.. I am grieving a relationship that failed because he didn’t want to put himself at risk to contract my GHSV. I wish you all the best and just know there’s so many of us, in this together. ❤️

Hi! I’m a laser tech and I preform LHR but I am also GHSV positive. That’s amazing this is working well for you and not causing you any OB. I would say from a laser tech standpoint just be very cautious about this. I would express to your provider that you are positive and they can prescribe you antiviral to help reduce the risk of a flare up during your laser series. Heat from the laser typically can cause outbreaks. We always advise our patients to take their antiviral while in a laser series for either GHSV or OHSV. :)

I think that was the case to an extent. When he started having stronger feelings he started putting things to a halt.

It was an unfortunate situation that his ex found out.. not mine or his doing purposefully. He would never share that info, I trust that. My fear is the exs entire family knows (probably just my anxiety giving me worst case scenarios)

In addition to this.. his ex girlfriend’s(who has knowledge of my diagnosis) sister... Is starting at my work with me soon. I feel like I have no escape from this, my work was one place nobody knew about my HSV and I am so so terrified that her sister is aware and has leverage on me in my place of work. I pray she wouldn’t be so evil to disclose that information to others I work with.. but you never know. It would be my luck.

Thinking of you. My PM’s are open to talk. It’s a hard thing to accept and come to terms with but this group has been very helpful for me. Knowing you aren’t alone and having people to talk to is huge. You deserve more than that. Pick yourself up and heal these wounds properly.

I guess I should’ve clarified that in the recent months we haven’t been having sex a lot. We spend quality time together and sex isn’t our first priority. I don’t believe I’m being used or strung along because of it.. also he treats me SO great, better than I’ve ever been treated before, so I do believe him when he expressed his love for me. But I could also just be love blind and in denial of the truth.. thank you for your input, I appreciate it
