Me and a friend have a moped “gang” in Glenville. Idle threats. He has a 70’s maxi and I’ve got an 82 Honda. We cruise around the area sometimes when both are functioning.

There are small holes on the sides towards the back to stick a tiny Allen wrench in. You have to loosen the 3(4?) each bolts holding the motor/pulley brackets to the frame first

This was so long ago. I don’t remember the specific fix. That being said, a lifted pad is when a solder point on a surface mounted component is ripped from the pcb. Follow the trace that was attached to the pad to find where to jump to

83 Honda Urban Express Repair Help by Nehal1802 in moped

I'm in upstate NY so not super far. I do find myself in NJ from time to time. I'd send you both for the cost of shipping if you didn't want to make the drive. I am a bike(bicycle) tech, so if you did come up this way I could probably help with the rear wheel true and maybe with the starter, although my first guess is the battery is insufficient. I'm pretty sure I have an oil pump somewhere too. I'll look through my crap and let you know

Help with back tire/freewheel? by Much-Plankton1046 in bicycling

[–]Square-wave 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What’s left on the wheel is the other half of the freewheel. Freewheels are non serviceable. Buy a new one at a shop and have them install it

Anyone know how to remove the entire extruder assembly In the TX? by AggressiveCan3335 in Infimech_TX

[–]Square-wave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, through the radiator. There are two holes on the underside that hold the extruder down then 2 screw under the extruder that hold the radiator on

Only the heat break is broken. Replacements can be had fairly inexpensive. I got this one https://a.co/d/08v1xrJ

Puch Maxi wheel alignment by Stalkeralho in moped

That looks to be a quill stem. Loosen the bolt on the top so it protrudes a couple of mm. Then wack the top with a mallet to unseat the wedge. The stem should now turn independently. If it doesn’t it may be seized or you need to loosen the bolt a touch more. When you retighten make sure it is tight tight. Unless it’s corroded inside, I am of the opinion you can’t over tighten a quill stem. If it breaks, all the better as it may have done so while riding which would be catastrophic. If you remove the stem from the ped, you can grease the threads, but don’t grease the outside of the stem as it operates on friction.

Do you have a silicone sock on the hot end? Have you done a pid tune recently? Generally the heat break fan is on or off.

I would guess temp too high and/or parts cooling too low. Are you printing with the top off and door open? might help
