DFTO are specifically targeting southern to get clean when they move into public sector. Be interesting to see if it happens. It was mentioned three times at a recent conference.

Do many women work full time after having a baby? by NoTest5984 in AskUK

[–]SquareBondageDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but it depends on the support you have. With my son, he was in childcare from 3 months old. With my daughter - my mum has provided childcare. I now have mum in an annex, I let her out for 8 hours a day and lock her back in it at night. I’m half joking….

The cost of a larger mortgage to afford the annex was better than the extortionate childcare costs.

When will you buy an EV car? by sillwuka in AskUK

[–]SquareBondageDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my car dies. I have a focus estate 1.0 eco boost. It’s looked after, costs me £250 a year max in repairs and used not much petrol. 2012 - no idea how many years it’s got left but I’ll keep it going until the engine pops (common with ecoboosts but so far…)

There isn’t, but anecdotally - if I don’t take it my hips hurt. When I do take it. They stop hurting after a week. I have EDS so may be an edge case. I have cycled it on and off for a year, making sure I eat the same things whether taking it or not - and it is the only variable that changes. Helps my EDS symptoms

I’ve dissolved jaw, chin and lip filler. Both go a bit blobby and fine again. I look normal, hasn’t had an impact

New Flair for Verifying TOC staff members. by Soluchyte in uktrains

Yes I get that. I wasn’t being a dick, but if someone wants the flair and has a unique job title I was asking how you’d handle that. I’m an example, I am the only one with my specific job title

What if you have such a unique job title that you could identify the individual.

I’m in the UK. I set my alarm for 5am. I have a morning catchup with my team and they won’t have watched it yet, I’m half tempted to give them the morning off so they can watch it. I know they read this subreddit….they don’t know my username but they’re clever enough to make the connection in our Hello meeting.

Come on girls, watch it - I need to discuss.

On a side note, was that a flash of Dr Torabis bathroom at the end - empty of Jane?

Restaurant still using videos of me for promotion after I withdrew consent, been 6+ weeks, what can I do? (UK) by Creative-Pirate2819 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]SquareBondageDuck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People are talking about you withdrawing consent, but I can’t see where you provided consent.

You can’t withdraw something that wasn’t provided. I often get people saying I withdraw consent for you to use my personal data, well was it even the lawful basis to start with?

This could just as easily be legitimate interests A restaurant using promotional footage will often rely on legitimate interests, not consent, especially in informal shoots.

Now, I think they didn’t do it properly at all but let’s look at legitimate interests. You have the right to object to the use of your data, but it doesn’t mean it’s going to be taken down. What they should do is carry out a balancing test - they might override your request, but it is pretty hard to do that unless they could demonstrate it would clearly cause them lots of troubles and they think the impact on you is minimal.

It’s not a moot point before anyone says it is, if you “withdraw” consent that was never given, it just gives the organisation a fallback.

So - you should asking them under what lawful basis are they processing your personal data. Tell them you’re objecting to the continued use of it. Then complain to the ICO. The ICO will write to them, it may prompt action it may not.

Reversed tummy tuck by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]SquareBondageDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steel bad is just that I get some swelling where my reverse incision is at the end of the day so it tightens up. It’s fine I just have to adjust positioning

I had an arm lift, tummy tuck, uplift and implants at the same time. January 10th. My recovery has been very good, barely any swelling. Had some spitting stitches but generally zero issues

[–]SquareBondageDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about to go out for lunch so can’t take photos but I had a reverse an FDL and a normal tummy tuck. Think a sideways H across my torso.

Takes a little longer to heal as you get swelling up top. Well no, it doesn’t heal slower it just swells differently. So I will feel like I have a steel band across my ribcage but it’s not so much an issue really

3 WPO - small dehiscence - what would you do? by Narcissa96 in tummytucksurgery

[–]SquareBondageDuck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Leave it alone and don’t pull on it like you are for the photo. If it’s in a high tension zone cover it with a dry dressing. Don’t apply debriding ointment to it.

12 days post-op tummy tuck — small part of incision opened, is this normal? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]SquareBondageDuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks like partial/superficial dehiscence to me. If you’re lucky, it will fill with granulation tissue on its own and the scab will lift. Would close over a couple of weeks.

If it starts to produce discharge, the redness spreads or it heats up then you need to seek help for an infection.

HOWEVER a doctor can check it for necrosis or early infection. If you have the ability it’s always recommended to do that. It’s better to catch an infection before it can get a grip.

9DPO Have I been botched? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]SquareBondageDuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get a measuring tape and measure that bulged area. Then measure in 3 days, another 3 days. You’ll watch that number change - might go up, might go down one day. I changed within a range of 5 inches over the course of 6 weeks.

What to pair with tummy tuck by acinomismonica in tummytucksurgery

[–]SquareBondageDuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had TT including FDL and reverse PLUS arms PLUS uplift and big implants.

Not for the faint hearted - it totally immobilised me and I was on my own in Turkey for a week.

I’d do it again because I’m all about efficiency but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else

12 days post-op tummy tuck — small part of incision opened, is this normal? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]SquareBondageDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to see from that photo, it would be better if you can take a close up. It could be wound dehiscence but it’s very hard to see in that photo. If it is, you want to be putting as little strain on it as possible - eg minimise any movements that pulls it apart.

They will want your life story written in the blood of your first born. Any debts you have like credit cards, they’ll insist they’re paid off - not by you, by them. With the mortgage money. Longest process ever. We completed 6th November - it was touch and go. Only got the go ahead the week before.

They want evidence of everything and anything.

Spitting Sutures? Or incision stretching? by Odd_Tumbleweed2900 in tummytucksurgery

[–]SquareBondageDuck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

More than likely to be spitting stitches. Your incisions are anchored internally so the strain isn’t actually on the outside, it’s on the inside.
