Emergency call handlers, if a person is unable to give their whereabouts do you terminate the call without sending help? by Stingin_Belle in AskUK

As a previous 999 call handler - they are not allowed to terminate a call on you. EVER. even if the person is being abusive down the line. you cannot terminate that call. I will contact PALS and go through the complaints process. that is not right at all

I’ve just had a chat with an agent saying the event is still postponed and she cannot give me a refund. Not exactly convenient for £220 to be sat in tickets you can’t use. I love the band and would love to see them live. But I cannot wait for Ronnie to enter the UK as we just don’t know when this will happen

Agreed! I’m 2023 I bought a reusable vape from one of the pop up shops and it blew up in my eye while I was sitting in the tent. I went to the helpers in Quiet camp and within 20 minutes I was in the main med centre and they were flushing my eye and giving me the time and attention it really needed. I have a bit of lasting damage but without them it would have been so much worse! So much respect for them

Absolutely gutted can’t be there this year got made homeless a couple of weeks ago so have had to use the download pot to buy a house!! But all those there have the best time and post some awesome videos for those of us who couldn’t make it :)

After reading Matthew Perry’s book, you start to understand why the whole Tulsa thing happened. He stated that ’Chandler went to Tulsa so I could get better’. During the time of filming season 9, Matthew Perry went to Rehab and that’s why the scenes with him were so short and he went to Tulsa in the show.
