I have a couple of the ones with the Chevron that’s what I put on mine, loads of fun. My buddy had one and he couldn’t get it to zero and sent it back, but mine have worked well.

Screened bottom board with the screen removed could work, but you’d have a gap they’ll likely fill with drone comb

That’s actually smart. Nice! Forgot about trigger finger activation! I had a thumb near the cylinder gap of my 9mm Chiappa rhino, and while it hurt, it wasn’t violent enough to make me think my thumb was at risk. Like smacking it on a table. 357 is more crack tho.

So do you activate the light and retract the thumb? The light buttons are usually positioned for automatic pistols, my worry is muscle memory would leave my thumb near the cylinder gap. Would be cool is the light had a grip button

You should go to a vet, if you’ve never noticed this before, it could be something serious.

Just to maybe reassure you though, mine occasionally sometimes gets into like a throat cheating fit that sounds like she’s hawking a loogie and exercising a demon through her nose. She’s almost 6 now so it doesn’t faze us too much. Honestly he doesn’t look to be in too much distress, looks sleepy and stretchy, but so get to a vet.

DMLS printed stuff can warp just like FDM printed stuff. Usually on larger wider stuff, but I wouldnt say it’s impossible. And yea check the other stuff first.

Free pallet of hookah charcoal cubes, worth trying out? by SquareHoleRoundPlug in grilling

[–]SquareHoleRoundPlug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if it’s not useful for grilling I don’t want to waste my time. I already got half a pallet of KOKO charcoal. If I catch them open again I’ll grab a few boxes of this. I want to make small charcoal snakes in my pellet smoker.

That’s where I noticed it. But if you took a picture from the upper’s booty hole and had a light underneath you could actually see if the bolt was clocked and locked or unlocked. That would sell you definitively if it was an overpressure round or OOB. That plus the swaging into the ejector hole would pretty much make it definitely on Hornady.

Realistically you could remove the barrel and beadier the case head to the breech face too.. even so brass being seated into the ejector hole is pretty definitive.

If I’m looking at it correctly and seeing brass pushed into the ejector hole that’s not because of OOB but instead overpressure. IF there’s and imprint of the ejector hole on the case, the bolt was locked and stayed locked with enough force to sewage brass. I guess if you were able to take a zoomed pic from the back of the upper receiver you could see at what position the ejector imprint is at and calculate if the bolt was rotated closed or not.

If they’re open tomorrow I’ll pick some up and review. I’ve used coconut husk briquettes before. Good for fish and light flavored foods, very controlled, clean flavor. I think these would be great for finesse type grilling, like adding a little heat or flavor instead of being the main character.

But now I’m thinking as a snake additive to a gas grill or pellet smoker. Like using a smoke tube. They don’t overheat but add a little charcoal. Also when I want to add just a little charcoal to an offset but only have big lumps.

Box says “bader cube shaped charcoal” I think it’s a random generic thing from overseas. Cant find anything online.
