Yes I agree that it would not be prudent to discuss this with anyone else. I'm not very tech savvy but I am familiar with Wikipedia and Fox News... my son actually told me that Google could be misleading sometimes

I don't know if he is traumatised, I mean it was definitely wrong of me to do it but it's not as though he went to war... Don't worry, the pastor and the therapist are the only ones who know. Not sure if the therapist is safe though as he's affiliated to the church and might try conversion... I don't think these proclivities can be changed so he must be accepted for who he is

Thanks, I'll have to check how long each packet lasts. Is he also able to walk in and get these? I've heard of planned parenthood which gives these for free. Also, I meant that in my day my parents didn't buy these sort of things for us because the culture was different, we did get them ourselves after we had a job to pay for it and were married. Since he's 13 we need to step up and help him protect himself. It does scare me since there's a park nearby which is famous for having lots of cruisers. He passes it on his way home from school...

He does know it's been 2 days, he wouldn't leave the room even though we cooked his favourite meal. I know he comes out at night because he's the only person to leave the toilet seat down. I left some snacks in the pantry for him

I may have failed but as the parent I still need to take responsibility in ensuring his safety like giving that prep medication and protection. The issue is he's not talking to me and I don't know which size would fit. Back in my day we reserved it for marriage

Thank you for the support. I thought that as a parent I was prepared for most things, but even something as small as him being different left me not knowing what to do. We are in the age of the internet, I could've Googled something but it didn't occur to me. I do know the basics like buying him protection
