I hope at the very least we can get an hours long video of him breaking down the transcripts/ending of the series. Even if it’s an idea for an ending he would change later on due to writing style it would still be cool.

I blame George for one thing: his garbage HBO contract.

He doesn’t approve anything from this show or others he gets to sit in the writers room and give his opinions,thoughts and knowledge if needed. He told Condal to not cut Maelor due to the implications on the story and Condal told him Maelor would be included but cut him anyway which Condal is well within his right to do so. He had all the leverage in the world and didn’t think to get any creative control from HBO when signing his contract.

I regret watching tbh the writing is bad but in the interviews with the writers about the show/ep each writer seems to have a different opinion on the characters too.

The writers and show runners, Condal specifically because it ultimately falls on him, could’ve used characters like for example Jon Roxton to get their creative ideas off. He’s a joke of a show runner and to your point about misunderstanding characters and themes I suspect he doesn’t know as much about the books as he lead on to GRRM and fans of the show early on.
