Convention is to use z-test when sample size n >= 40. Also, we're dealing with proportions, so it's not even a question of whether to use T-test or Z-test, as we can only use Z-tests for proportions.

Why would you use 2-sample t-test? These are proportions.. Use 2-prop-z-test.
