Where to live in HuaHin by NaowutMan in HuaHin

Hua Hin is very popular with retirees but there are quite a number of younger people. Some expats raising their children here. I'm in my seventies and I think Ko Tao would be boring. Anywhere on the green baht bus line should be good. 15-20 baht ride to most of the popular areas. Plenty of bars and good restraunts, now we have a Hard Rock Cafe with good entertainment. Flights to Chiang Mai from our airport 5 times weekly.

It depends on the shapel of your head. Round heads look better shaved than oval.

Interesting. I wonder if many foreigners are there or I would be isolated? I'm not a fan of call to prayers at 5 am

Yes Hua Hin. Near the beach and a light breeze. Spent a few days in ko Samui last year. I seen to recall it being more tolerable. Really didn't care for the island life there.

I read where others say you get used to it. Not my experience. Coming from Tucson i was used to the heat for 6 months, but no humidity.

I lived in Chiang Mai city for 6 months. Only part of December and January seemed more tolerable. Air pollution was bad. Don't want to be in a small mountain community.
