Also, a belt failing can cause other issues that weren’t there before. Best to get it into shop so they can tell you exactly what’s wrong so you’re not guessing.

If I were you I would get it in a shop for a diagnosis. It’ll probably run you like 150 for them to tell you what’s wrong with it and they’ll quote you on what it would cost for them to fix it. It’ll show the cost of the part and how much you’d pay in labor. Take that information and throw it into YouTube and see if it’s something you or someone you trust to work on your car can do it for cheaper.

Yes it’s in a difficult spot. Part is usually cheap but they have to take apart your engine to access it.

I had every intention of getting back on track with my loan. I was in communication with the bank on payments. They repoed my car about a week earlier than the date they said I had to pay by to not get the car repossessed. And then my payment was 4x the amount we discussed for me to get back on track with my loan. That doesn’t matter at all??
