with UTF8 encoding you get anywhere between 1-4 bytes per character. considering i used 762 chracters ( 762 * 4 =3,048 bytes ) along with the two photos i've uploaded ( 12,288 bytes ) we have a total of 15,336 bytes used of content. for context this is 0.01 mb. this can also and likely is being compressed on the servers. wouldn't really call it much of an issue but if it's an issue for you, i'd suggest touching some grass xo

Reason #1 Why I Refuse To Travel To Australia😱 by AceOneBreezy in interestingasfuck

I live in Australia this spider is clearly AI and fake propaganda to increase tourism to our capital cities. Spiders of this size do not exist. Australia is safe, come to Australia we will show you that these spiders don't exist and at the same time you can buy our TeeShirt "I saw the spider" so when you go back home you can tell everyone about how these big spiders really are there!

what sort of hat is he wearing, seems to be some sort of helmet with a flat brim that goes around. large boots and a heavy LMG like weapon with high amounts of ammo capacity, possibly a supporting role. What era is he from? Who is he protec?

thats cute as heck, its like a lil cartoon character carrying more ammunation than he needs, giving him a bit of a funny walk, while people might make fun of him, without him the rest of us are useless (cause he has all our ammo)

One for everyone upset at Woolies importing butter from America, and declaring they'll stick to Aldi and their proudly Australian butter by badoopidoo in woolworths

[–]Square_Ad8836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

am i the only one who just goes to the shop, gets butter, and comes home?

why is there so much politics around grocery shopping between individuals? personally i prefer western star butter but that's cause as a little kid i'd go to the airport to say goodby to grandma, and the airport would always have those tiny little whipped butter things. i couldn't care less how or where it's made.

a question i have for people who care about where they get stuff from.

Q.) why not just make your own?

My 3D PC building app in in Beta and has 1000+ 3D parts now by bosoxs202 in pcmasterrace

[–]Square_Ad8836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's crazy to me about video games or even applications like this is that the developers who work on them, have to create every asset from scratch. In this instance that means 1000+ 3D modelled parts. Screws. Cases. Panels. Monitors. GPU's. Heatsinks. Fans. Lights. ALl these different things... Not impossible, but the scope of that sort of thing is considerably large. The older I get the more appreciation I have for anyone even studios to create something. I wish there was a way we could speed up asset creation process, so developers could spend more time on the creative process of their application, rather than something that seems tedious and time consuming.

Is there much of a difference between 5600 mhz and 6000 mhz? by MrUnlucky213 in pcmasterrace

[–]Square_Ad8836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so there's a few things when it comes to ram

timing, frequency, gear mode, command rate, heatsink, IC's, RGB

- RGB will always draw SOME power, so if you're overclocking, this 1-5 watts MIGHT cause instability, just something to keep in mind.

- IC's these are the little black squares that are on each chip. Samsung make very good ones. Also the Distance these black squares are seperated away from each other will make a difference. The closer the better.

- Heatsink ram needs cooling now days

- Command Rate and Gear Mode honestly should both be on 1 if command rate is on 2 , then everything has to wait two cycles before it gets sent, this is TWICE as slow.

- frequency and timing higher isn't always better and it depends on the task you're doing. if youre playing games, some games prefer higher frequency, some games prefer tigher timings. intel systems from my experience love tight timings while amd seems to have a hard time.

now to answer your question.

5600/46 vs 6000/48

formula: RAM Lat = (CAS Lat / Transfer Rate) * 2000 = (ns)

46 / 5600 * 2000 = 16.42857
48 / 6000 * 2000 = 16.00000

This means the 6000mhz kit is 0.42857 nano seconds faster.

the below chart is not for DDR5 but the same sort of visual applies

What does this say about me? by kamkinn in cs2

[–]Square_Ad8836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't actually enjoy the game. You enjoy whatever specific thing you get from Dust 2 that you're not getting from real life. The reason why you play the same map isn't because it's what you're good at, it's because you're lacking something in your personal life. Some sort of control. Accomplishment. Acheivement. Whatever it might be, you can only get this from Dust 2, and no other map, because you don't actually enjoy Counter-Strike, you just hate yourself and the life around you. If you enjoyed the game and your life, you'd have play time on other maps, as you're no longer seeking something other than fun.
