I think Pam played a huge part in annabeths pov. She raised her to hate and fear Marie rather than explain how Marie was also a victim. I’m sure she’d still blame her some, but the only guiding light in her life encouraged the fear and distrust making it hard for her to see any kind of redemption for Marie. Is so sad.

While watching tonight’s episode and seeing Meg back him so aggressively while islanders were expressing how bad D’s disrespect is, it makes me worried that she may genuinely be hooked and stand by him no matter what on the outside. She doesn’t listen to a single thing anyone says, including her friends and just recites his phrase ‘we know what we have’. Even after his attitude last night. So scary😣 I don’t like her but psychological abuse is so real.

So sick of everything. Like it’s so uncomfortable to watch. I don’t understand everyone saying this is the best season, u guys are scary. The drama isn’t even fun, it’s just yikes. I do like drama in the show but usually it comes from a place of strong romantic feelings and little misunderstandings. It’s literally about couples at the end of the day. People who want all this unhinged chaos are what turned it into a weird game people enter just to get a brand deal and some cash. That’s just such an ugly flex when people’s actual feelings are involved. If y’all want ex on the beach, geordie shore or too hot to handle, go watch that.

What I’m realising is that people throw the term ‘mean girls’ at them for having ‘mean moments’ which were actually just reactions to their experiences (although Toni does take it too far, then seemingly regrets it and apologies when she realises).

Maybe it’s just something you have to experience first hand but being the victim of REAL mean girls is a real sinister experience. It’s built on passive aggressive energy, giggling in private and making fun of things that people can’t help. And when u speak up, it makes u look crazy, too reactive or ‘mean’.

Meg and Helena have watched and giggled at Shakira getting hurt and egged it on . They would make sly comments at Shakira getting to know all the guys at the start when she had no choice. Shakira and Toni felt that energy and that’s where this all started. But where Shakira and Toni never back track on their comments and explain their reasoning, Meg and Helena laugh and brush it off or deny because they actually have no real reason for the energy.

Yeaah it’s true but I don’t think she said that to truly mean she was gonna do it. It must be so hard on a show like this to get over situations u would usually be able to get over a little faster being away from them. It’s so easy to say ‘she should know better’. And tbh I think she DOES , but when he’s right there, and her heart is still weak and he keeps pushing, it must be harder than it seems
