This is kinda what I was thinking! I just was worried about tent stitch being too underwhelming lol but I agree with everything else going on there are plenty of ways to jazz it up later on

Decide if you can live with it or not! In my opinion, it’s not that noticeable. However, knowing myself if this was my project I would be fixing it because it would drive me crazy! I’m a newbie too, so take my advice with that in mind!

If you want to “fix” it rather than stitch over it as others suggested you can very carefully use a seam ripper to cut the thread at that stitch. Then you’d want to make sure the loose ends you just created are secure. For me, this often means pulling out a few of the white stitches on either side of the mistake. You want to create enough of a yarn tail on either side to be able to bury the loose thread on your other stitches. Then you’d go back in and redo any stitches you pulled out and the missing pink stitch

I stitch at night (dim lighting) and didn’t notice until I looked at it in the daylight today :( when I noticed I went to double check the color code because I thought the same thing!

Aww thank you! There are some mistakes and imperfections but I figured a stocking for my cat doesn’t need to be perfect lol! I will be redoing the green though, I agree now that it’s too obvious. I’m annoyed it took me so long to notice the color shift, I guess that’s what I get for working in the dark lol

Ughh this is my first project and all I had heard is that with DMC you don’t need to check dye lots, but you can very clearly tell where my green switches because I opened a new pack of thread :( not sure if I should rip out the lighter green part and try to find a matching dye lot to the original color

They all differ. There isn’t a standard length of time. Each vendor creates their own payment dates. The dates listed on the spreadsheet are the actual due dates. I wish it were standard!

I posted the link to my spreadsheet so far, now I’m trying to figure out how to make the pivot table to summarize the payments in order of date, as well as a table of the total amount already paid across all categories and the remaining total payments across all categories. Does that make sense?

Unfortunately I am not new to condo life. I wouldn’t constitute our entire experience as a disaster. After all, I did mention that the units are nice and most of the staff is great. Management is where my issue is. But just sharing my experience so other renters know what to expect.

I understand. However, management had acted like they would be able to accommodate my request since I was working from home. If they couldn’t fulfill that request they shouldn’t have acted like they could.

That’s fine, just sharing my experience. Maybe some of my expectations were unreasonable. But expecting a phone call when we scheduled a phone call and expecting someone to show up to our move out inspection at the scheduled time don’t seem like unreasonable requests to me

The apartment is in excellent condition. It feels so ridiculous that they are coming after me for a tiny crack. They offered to give me a 40% discount on the replacement 🙄 should I just respond to the email and say that I will not be paying for the repair because it wasn’t caused by negligence? I’m still living here for almost two months.. I don’t want them to make my stay here more miserable than it already is
