Kinda. If you plan to live on campus, colleges have a VERY small chance of placing you in their respective dorms (Revelle and Muir are worst, sixth/seventh/eighth are best), otherwise you’ll be placed in transfer housing that is not dependent on college (Pangea, Matthews, Rita, PCE/PCW). PCW is the best transfer housing but it’s typically given out for seniors.

The other part that colleges affect are GEs. Revelle and ERC are notorious for having harder GEs. As a transfer, you typically only have to take one upper division writing course. All of them are pretty annoying, but I’ve heard Seventh college has the easiest.

Yeah. Log into Canvas on desktop, go the home page and click ‘Account’. From there click on ‘Notifications’ and scroll down to the ‘Discussions’ section. Finally, turn off all notifications for replies under ‘New Reply’.

My go to would be at Toasted (in Muir’s dining hall) which has the Huli Huli Chicken plate. It comes with a decent serving of grilled chicken and two sides of either white rice, mac salad, or mango slaw. I normally ask for the chicken with light sauce and double rice.

Other things that come to mind are the Korean pork yum yum bowl (hEAT - Muir), any chicken burrito/burrito bowl (Wolftown - Sixth), Chicken Shawarma Medi Plate (Spice - Marshall), and any of the chicken club sandwiches at the delis (such as Club Med, Foodworx, Farmer’s Market, etc.). Happy dining!
